Gingrich affirms presidential intentions

Washington (CNN) - Newt Gingrich affirmed in a radio interview Thursday that he plans to take his first official step toward a presidential bid later in the day after a meeting with Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal.

"Callista and I are prepared to see if there are enough folks who want to see if we can get this country back on the right track," Gingrich told Georgia radio host Martha Zoller.

The former House Speaker said he plans to launch a website to accompany the presidential exploratory phase he is expected to announce.

The website: NewtExplore2012.com

Gingrich said the site will go live at some point Thursday afternoon.

We, the people affirm that Newt *gangrene of americas* will not win because once the populous finds out about his corruption/scandals & multiple affairs, we will voice resounding NO to his bid. And of course, the democrats will mention and prove howe corrupt he is. And Newt and to all republicans, 3 affirs, how is that family value to you all so talk about? Or could it be, family value only comes into play when a democrat does the hanky panky with someone other than his wife? If a republican does it he still has family values, right? NO is the answer and so no double standards.

Anyone can beat Obama in the 2012 election; Gingrich will easily beat Obama in a massive land slide win, after two years of the Obama administration,
Here what Gingrich can run on:
Repeal every law passed by the last Democratic-controlled congress!
Repeal every regulation put into place by the Obama administration!
Remove every “zar” put into place by the Obama administration!
Getting the government out of private companies and our lives and pockets!
    Cut taxes!
    Close the border!
    End ear marks!
investigate, prosecute and put those people in the Obama administration in prison.

Newt does not have the moral strength to lead this country. where would he take this country? back to a time when the rich controlled everything and slavery was legal? He does not stand for anything good.

And what can Newt offer besides taking us back – back to the Bush-Cheney mentality that pursues private agendas favoring the few and that seek political ambitions at all cost and above all else while giving the majority apathy, the costs and an abundance of subterfuge to con and manipulate. Don't like having the problems we have? Well don't expect anything positive by going back to what caused them to begin with!

Good Luck with that! The hate merchant and peddler of lies that invents his own facts on Fox is setting the bar to an even lower standard now for the GOP.

Great, another lie spewing moron wanting to run this country. I loved how some young college girl mopped the floor with this guy at his last political speech. No gay rights or marriage, great then stop cheating on your wife and getting divorced multiple times. One more dumbass I won't be voting for.

Something that we definitely need........someone with experience that can teach us how to cheat on our spouse when they have a terminal illness. Just love those family values!

Oh say it aint so!! this cheating, lying, ahole who then evokes God's forgiveness so he can keep lying and cheating and being an ahole, really? Let him take all the money from the other gop canidates and then eat them up and spit them out so that they will be too damaged to win anything. Go for it Newt

Meh...no suprise here. So let's see a story about the memo Newetered sent Rumsfeld in 2003 that advised Rummy to plant Dept. of Defense people throughout the federal government in order to exert more widespread influence over policy. Newtered is militaristic autocracy waiting to happen.

Can somebody explain to me why we should care if Callista, the-future-ex-Mrs. Gingrich, is "prepared" or not? Or how the "values" voters can tolerate this serial adulterer?

"Callista and I are prepared to see if there are enough folks who want to see if we can get this country back on the right track," Gingrich told Georgia radio host Martha Zoller.

I don't want the country on HIS track.

We're on the right track when he's not on the track.

"Back on the right track..." Yeh, like his non-family family values (divorce, marital affairs), shutting down the government, slashing and burning anything to the left of John Birch. Where have the statemen and women gone to? Those who work for everyone's good, not just their myopic party lines.

Great news!! Newt will mop the floor with Obama in any debate. This guys knows his stuff. He was the one most responsible for getting the budget back in balance in the 90's though Clinton takes all the credit for it.

I want to hear what his children say about his commitments ! Newt is a very sad man with an ego that out weighs the ability to tell the truth !

Ed Rollins says that Newt maybe be a new Reagan, sort of. I disagree. Reagan told the truth, or at least when he said things he believed in his heart that they were true. Newt has a problem telling the truth... ask his wives. For example, when he was overseeing the impeachment Bill Clinton for his affair with Lewinsky, Newt was having his own affair with an intern who was not his wife.

There is not enough space here to record all the lies and deceptions of his tenure as Speaker of the House. Remember, it was his own Republican colleagues - not the Democrats - who forced him from office. That tells you something right there.
