What exactly does Obama want?

Washington (CNN) – President Obama, one might argue, is someone we've gotten to know over the past two years. At first, he was Zelig incarnate, seemingly everywhere, all the time. That's calmed down a bit, but by now his nature is clear: a deep temperamental caution, served with a side order of prudence.

And that probably shouldn't be a complete surprise. After all, we signed a complex contract when we elected Obama the candidate: One part "Cool Hand Luke," the other, an audacious character full of the promise of transformation. We wanted the best of both worlds - a president without the bravado of a Bush, but with the smarts and ambition of a Clinton.

Obama wants exactly to uplift middle class Americans, boost economy and jobs in America, and bring Manufacturing, , Give health care to all, greener energy, and immigration law to be implemented....etc., to do these he needs time...He knows, we should have been energy independent long time ago....he knows Saudi bribed GOP.....this caused this mess, now you and I are paying 4.00 dollar a gallon at gas pumps.....o.k.

First of all let me say I HAVE NEVER SEEN A PRESIDENT AS CAREFULLY WATCHED as President Obama. Having said that as usual, Gloria Borger sounds foolish. "That may be true. But he is the president. And sometimes the only way to solve big problems is to throw caution to the wind. No matter which way it's blowing." This is a very foolish suggestion. Solomon warned of being a fool.

Sure there are some things I wish he would do different but he is NOT me and therefore DOES NOT do everything I want. People need to remember this is our president's first term. I'm sure he is learning just like ALL the other presidents before him – that while it may seem easy on the campaign trail real life is a different story. Given the right amount of time and surrounding himself with the right people, I think President Obama WILL COME THROUGH BIG TIME. I am glad to be a supporter and given the upcoming "picks" I will gladly vote for him again.

Oh c'mon now, fire and brimstone, good vs. evil, and a President that will send over 4500 American service men and women to their deaths for false reasons, that is what a "strong" President does. Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead...right off the cliff....

after getting thumped in the midterm elections, the careful president read the tea-leaves, and compromised with GOP leaders on a tax deal that contained a gift for everyone....

...and then unemployment dropped the fastest it has in 28 years. Finally with the ACROSS THE BOARD tax breaks we are seeing economic improvement. Jobs. Tax breaks work much better than extending unemployment benefits for actually putting Americans back to work.

Sorry, but I wasn't part of the group that "signed off" on someone who was obviously more enamored with his "Hollywood" image, than he was with substance, and solutions for our problems.

The upshot is, my worst fears were realized, and his Presidency is pretty much a total disaster.

What he wants......he hasn't gotten. That is, the adoration of the American public. On the contrary, now those who supported him have seen the truth, and most have left to do something else, because they know he has zero chance of getting re-elected, and change will occur.

All this clown wants is attention and Power. He doesn't have a clue how to lead.
