Independents helped the rethugs in 2010. Still trying to figure out why men/women like them would choose the party of the rich. I can't believe the pool about the poor either unless ey don't have a tv and arenot psying sttention to the rethugs helping their rich friends while scrwing the middle class and the poor!!!
Then again here at work I would say that half of the people who came into the lunchroom on Friday had not heard of the Japan earthquake and would not stop long enough to watch what happened! What a country!!! :(
It's quite simple really, Obama is not a leader. Sure, he sounds great giving speeches and looks pretty in photos, but where's the substance? His responses to world events has been abysmal. It's as if he needs advice to form an opinion about everything, and he takes days to respond to the obvious. Well at least our relationship with Japan is "unshakable". I can't help think that quote came from Biden somehow.
stress on education, science and technology, Energy efficiency and R & D.infrastructure, and public transportation etc, ....not on corporate greed, Banking overcharging interest rates on Visa/MC etc., rise tax on who make more than 250k....o.k
IMHO, Obama is not liberal enough. He is very middle-of-the-road in fact. The problem is when compared to the Republican/Tea Party, his positions remain steady relatively speaking, while the Rep./TPs spin ever more rightist- and seemingly out-of-control (witness the utter insanity in Arizona's Republican leadership- is that the model for the nation if Republicans gain power?).
