No questions at Obama-Rousseff news conference

Brasilia, Brazil (CNN) – After recent tension over President Obama breaking with tradition by hosting world leaders at the White House but not taking any questions from the media during those sessions, administration officials were eager to boast that he would be holding several news conferences on his three-nation trip to Latin America.

"So I'd just note for your planning purposes, we'll be having three press conferences with each of the leaders," said Ben Rhodes, the White House's deputy national security adviser for strategic communications. "So there will be that opportunity."

Give the guy a break! He needs a couple weeks to check out the polls before forming an opinion.

But can we BLAME President Obama, for instance??
NO, there is another President that’s a different fighter
"It's not her way," – she didn’t do it with others either!!!

Now let’s see how the critics and pundits spin
This debacle that they were put in
With their mics in hand do you think they really understand?
NO –they will still blame President Obama even though he’s on foreign land!!!

Let's support our current leader, President Obama, as he continues to MOVE AMERICA FORWARD and the WORLD in a positive direction!!!

Glad to know the First Family landed safely and I know the President will speak with dignity and intelligence, unlike a
"certain private citizen from Alaska", who I see still holds the top spot on the Ticker. Same story two days in a row.
Hasn't she flown in on her magic carpet yet, screaming for bent straws and sippy cups?

The president has given more open press conferences than nay other prior presidents (compared to mute dumb Bush) with great command of vastly broad subject matters. It was some so called journalists who are more intetested in making a name for themselves scoring some cheap point by asking confrontational, rude and total lack of respect to the POTUS, totally not interested in objective questions on behalf of the country.

    @OneMoreTime

You are so right – that "certain private citizen from Alaska" should not even be in the TICKER!!! She is NO LONGER a governor and she has NO INTENTIONS of running for president!!! She is starring in her own reality show – "Sarah FOOLS Americans by FAKING running for President" and she gets TOP BILLING from the media and CNN!!!

As we observe our President one must wonder
How would McCain/Palin handle all of these blunders?
If the way they are ACTING now is a good indication –
Our country will be in chaos, destroyed – no longer a united nation!!!

I cannot believe how many complain about Obama’s demeanor
He should move QUICKER or SLOWER according to the media
When President Obama got elected all the critics and pundits thought
They were president too and President Obama had to be taught

Most compare Obama to Reagan and others on the mantelshelf
Like the presidency is written in stone and you cannot be yourself
But "As we respond to these immediate crises abroad…” wouldn’t you?
Rather have President Obama wearing the shoes!!!

President Obama is “handling” it and many do not want to admit it. This is the reason why every “little” thing he does “outside of the box” gets criticized!!!

France's President Sarkozy chose much stronger words than our President Obama chose in the matter of Libya.
Without failing to be aware of President Obama's accomplishments, I wish that our president would address Libya's leader as directly and eloquently as President Sarkozy does.

Did you ever think that in your lifetime a French president would have more leadship ability than an American one. And as I read this I can't believe the people who still cannot see what weak, inept, incompetent, union toady the unions stole the election for. I realize it is difficult to admit you are wrong, but to still have the wool over your eyes at ths point is sick.

Most transparent President ever! We taxpayers can see right through this guy and you can bet we'll send him packing in 2012! T'sah dear, you need to give him up and go back to corresponding with that guy in prison because no way is the President ever going to leave the first clydesdale!

Oh, man, didn't know the CNN website was visited by this many sheeple, dimwits who think we have a president, rather than the useless, empty suit he's proven himself to be.

awesome. the world does revolve around Palin. fight her everywhere. speak of her incessantly. keep seeking her out. make her the most popular name in the ticker. . . then complain about her name always popping up.

@jerry, you do know that Brazil is in South America and regardless of what the President tells them he is not running for re election down there, right?
I just wanted you to understand because you probably think Brazil (being so large) is a continent!
This man has more savvy in one little pinky than 90% of the rethugs in the party and those who follow them.
