Brasilia, Brazil (CNN) - President Obama is getting up-to-the-minute briefings on the start of military action in Libya during his tour of Latin America, and said here Saturday that an international coalition is ready "to act and act with urgency" to stop Moammar Gadhafi from continuing to attack civilians.
"The people of Libya must be protected," Obama said. "And in the absence of an immediate end to the violence against civilians, our coalition is prepared to act, and act with urgency."

Does this mean we're at war with Libya? What's that make now, four countries? Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Libya? Maybe we should also think about invading China and India and getting our jobs back, huh?
Good deal! The brutality Gadhafi is using against Libya's citizens is unacceptable and it is time to bring it to a stop. But the second point is, I hope we do not make a half-assed effort like we are doing in Afghanistan. Go in with an objective and meet that objective quickly and completely. Half way is a losing proposition for everyone involved.
Ok all you people tell me how great this president is for our involvement in Libya. You claimed Bush should be put in jail because of Iraq but I know you will be defending Obama. At least most of the countries in Europe thought Iraq had WMD's when Bush went after them so tell me and I'm sure you will since Libya has nothing that can harm us but maybe cutting off oil supplies (which is what you used to blame Bush for in Iraq) why are we involved in this thing?
