A trio of 'Joes' to help launch an anti-Obama group

(CNN) – Three guys named Joe are teaming up to try and help defeat one guy named Barack.

The Joes, three figures popular among many conservatives, are Maricopa County, Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio, 2010 GOP Senate nominee Joe Miller of Alaska and Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher, better known during the 2008 presidential campaign as "Joe the Plumber."

They are teaming up Thursday night at a launch party and fundraiser in Montara, California for "The Campaign to Defeat Barack Obama," a group which is dedicated, as the name explains, to trying to beat President Barack Obama in the 2012 election.

The organization was launched by the "Our Country Deserves Better Committee," a conservative political action committee that's also the parent organization of the Tea Party Express, one of the leading national Tea Party groups.

The new organization hopes to raise money to run ads and build a grassroots network of up to one million supporters by next year's election.

Also scheduled to attend the event are Sharron Angle, last year's Republican Senate nominee in Nevada, and conservative activist Melanie Morgan.

The newly formed group recently ran television ads in Wisconsin supporting Scott Walker, the new Republican governor whose battles with the state's public sector unions made national headlines.

Joe the Plumber's 15 minutes of fame were up years ago. And Joe Miller was defeated by a write-in candidate. 2 out of 3 Joes are losers.

Governor Walker was a great choice right? Oh wait....I forgot he's destroying his state. We could rename this trio the "Credibility Squad" since they have so much of it.

These media hounds need to focus on solving problems in their own areas and leave real governing to someone with some common sense.

Joe "My 15 minutes of fame were up a long time ago" the Plumber, Joe "I'll have you arrested if I don't like your questions" Miller, and Joe "Mexican Roundup" Arpaio. These 3 guys are the future of this country? This is the best this country can come up with? Out Freaking Standing.

So, do they get to live off of their donations, or will they actually be supporting a GOPer candidate?

Well, none of these guy are really ones to talk. What have they done that really amounts to something productive? The plumber - has he paid all the taxes he allegedly hasn't paid? Did the guy who ran for Senate in Alaska finally give up the fight after a number of tries which tried to fight the will of the voters? I don't know what the sheriff can really lay claim to other than being very harsh. What have they ever been elected to do?

  20. S. In California - Obama 2012

Team up ALL you want. Obama will be RE-elected for a second term. Most people including, myself want the following in a president:

Intelligence, level headiness, family values, good health (no obesity), dedication, a sense of direction, class, international savvy, good education, youthful age and (good looks don't hurt either). Which republican can match up to that? No one at present. Result – America welcomes President Obama to his second term.

It's amazing how many people come out of the woodwork to try stop at nothing to get the first black man out of a position of power. It just goes to show how prevalent racism still is across this country. Obama is doing something most Presidents have not, actually working for the people for the people's interests. Maybe too many people became too accustomed to Presidents doing things for corporations and racking up tax breaks at our own debt expense. When someone comes along with actually wants to help people with health care reform that has already been working for decades in other industrialized nations (The US is the only industrialized nation without it actually), people go crazy. That's because they're gotten used to terrible leaders who do things not for the people but for corporate interests – because it's easier that way.

Don't know which is more pathetic, this story or these three clowns.

It just shows that conservatives don't have much to pick from when choosing "heroes;" one is a renegade cop, one is a loser and the other a has been. Sad, very sad.
