(CNN)–Former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura says Sarah Palin will be the GOP nominee for president in 2012, and she'll "be controlled by the status quo."
Appearing on CNN's "Piers Morgan Tonight" Monday at 9 p.m. EST, the one-term Reform Party governor said that former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is being groomed for the role, though he doesn't care who the presidential nominees are for either party.
"I'm an equal opportunity despiser," he stated in a post-interview green room Q&A, making his disdain for both parties known.
"It seems that elections today are more popularity than they are substantial issues and she'd be perfect because she's the type of person that certainly will be controlled by the status quo and the power structure, so she'd make a perfect candidate for them," the WWE wrestling Hall of Famer-turned-politician declared.

That is a nonsensical statement. If anything everyday we see status quo politicians attack Sarah Palin. You can like her, or not, but she is anything but status quo and controllable.
Palin is starting to become a bit boring, a bit "been there, done that", a bit stale. She still hasn't learned the language, e.g. "squirmish", "refudiate". By early 2012, she will more stale than three-day old beer. I hope I'm wrong and Jessie is right. I think SP can easily get 35 % of the vote and she even might win Mississippi, Alabama and the rest of the old south.

She would have to be controlled by the status quo. Problem with that is, first thing she will want to know is "who is status quo?" She will have to be controlled more like a puppet because she will have to be told what to say and not say and how to say it. The only thing this woman about being President is that she would live in the White House and hunt from the balcony.

He's right. The billionaire Koch brothers that Palin works for will provide her scripts as usual. It's worked with their other employees, e.g. Cantor, Walker, Boeher, DeMInt. It hasn't worked as well with Bachmann. As the first special ed presidential candidate, there are more hurls for her than the Koch brothers can pay to go away.

It is almost as "not new" as the handfull of tea baggers who used their social security and unemployment checks to go to DC and demand that the 310 million people in America kow tow to their insnae desires. Love that they picked a completely arbitrary number for "deficit reduction" but now think that any number that is not the arbitrary number they picked out of their tea pot is somehow not meaningful or significant.
