Washington (CNN) – Real estate mogul Donald Trump, whether he makes a run for president or not, is stepping up his political travels.
Trump's office confirms that he will address the South Florida Tea Party rally in Boca Raton April 16th, one of a number of tea party events planned around the country during the weekend before the tax deadline.
His appearance is the third event he plans to attend in early primary or caucus states important to the GOP. He will speak at the Iowa Republican Party's Lincoln Day dinner in Des Moines, and plans a June appearance at the traditional "Politics and Eggs" breakfast series in New Hampshire. Both are traditional stops for likely candidates.
The Florida event is the Tea Party group's 3rd annual Tax Day rally, planned for Boca Raton's Sanborn Square.
South Florida Tea Party Chapter chairman Everett Wilkinson said he expects Trump to discuss tax reduction, and "his thoughts about how to get our country moving again".
"In every poll the Tea Party had, Donald Trump came out number one," Wilkinson said in a message to supporters. "America is tired of politicians giving speeches. We want to hear from people that have proven business experience. This should be an exciting day for America."
Trump has also maintained a busy non-political schedule, including a motivational speech in Spain and regular appearances on his NBC reality television series "Celebrity Apprentice." Despite hints he could enter the GOP field and seek the 2012 nomination for president, he has also been added to Fox News' lineup as a weekly guest.
Trump special counsel Michael Cohen said he received 87 speaking requests for Trump Tuesday. Cohen founded the ShouldTrumpRun website that's not affiliated with Trump's company, and said that 84 of the 87 event requests were political.

When he drops out of the election, will he tell us all how he "....screwed the Tea Party"?
Can't wait to see the verbal gymnastics on that one.
This man is a joke.
That's right let's put someone in the whitehouse that has to file bankruptcy every few years to keep his businesses afloat. That's what this country needs. No wait, the Republicans bankrupted this country under Bushy baby. Too late Donald they beat you to it. Now go get a wig or something. Your head is gross.
The only people that live in boca raton are millionaires using the tea party like a rag doll to protect their tax cuts. Shed no tears for Boca residents like the execs from Worldcom, Enron and many other leeches. Real grass roots my butt!
Mr. Trump, will you please get a new hair do!
This man IS a joke! People talk about him like he's such a phenomenal businessman...what about the times he's declared bankruptcy...that doesn't sound like great business to me! That's just what this country needs is someone who takes what he can and then walks off and leaves his mess for someone else to clean up!
Where's Donald Trump's birth certificate? Why won't he release it? What does he have to hide?
"We want to hear from people that have proven business experience." Ha! I guess Filing for bankruptcy several times means you've earned your stripes in the business world.
I wouldn't doubt this man would do better than Obama. Obama SUCKS!
I hope he brings bags of blow pops to hand everyone after the speech, supporting someone who donated $50k to the democrats..........hilarious!
Since I can only go back as far as Reagan, I know that you have to have a candidate with personality to win, period. Reagan (an actor), his history of selling cigarettes, bedtime with Bonzo, and acting allowed him to beat Carter (no personality), GW had history on Reagans admin and was able to beat Dukakis (no personality), Clinton comes in, appeals to the youth (remember the sax performance on Arsenio). Here comes W against a Gore (no personality, tied to Clinton's scandal), now Kerry comes (no personality) and gets defeated. Here comes Obama (personality) vs. McCain/Palin (the latter's bombing on the Couric interview) and they loose. The only contenders this time around with any type of personality is Palin (don't forget the Couric interview), and Trump........Obama will win in 2012. GOP needs to focus on 2016 and either make Palin read (which if she did that after she quit she would have a chance), or pairing up Meghan McCain with a husband who isn't polarizing). The lack of quality contenders on the GOP ticket will ensure Obama wins when the 47% of the electorate who didn't vote in the infamous "shellacking" actually goes out and votes as normal during he presidential elections. Just my honest opinion of history and who wins elections and why. A small number on the larger scale won't be able to influence the whole. The whole doesn't watch Fox or listen to AM talk radio so your numbers on that side will vote just as they ALL did in 2010 (all 41% of them). the left who are still mad at Obama wont' vote for the available GOP contenders. Essayons America
Trump has taken every side of most issues, and has decided it is easier to ignore facts and reality and become a birther.
I wonder if he will spew out more of his birther crap. Perhaps that creature on top of his head will be so embarrassed that it will run away and hide in the corner. This guy has always been a big blowhard.
So what's with all the coy business? Either you're in or you're out. Riding the media train gets old really, really fast.
The fact that this guy and sarah are running at all fills me with fear and lolz. i cant wait for the debate. i bet SNL feels the same.
another reason just to write off the Tea Party as a joke!
I just wonder what he's trying to accomplish. Everyone know's he;'s not running and hitching his wagon to the lunatic fringe birther train is going to forever damage his brand. I for one (and I'm sure I'm not alone) will do nothing to support anything he is involved in ever again and I used to respect the quy.
I just hope he puts whatever is growing on his head in quaranteen before he comes to Florida again...............
Colonel Coif reporting for duty...
He is almost as comical as Palin. Imagine a Palin / Trump ticket. It would be like watching a train wreck as it happens.
Just what we need...........A blabbering idiot addressing a whole group of idiots............Southern fried idiots at that!.........Kinda gives a whole new meaning to the term " send in the clowns " eh?
And will the The Donald produce a birth certificate for whatever it is growing on top of his head? Americans have a right to know what he has given birth to and was is it American.
Trump isn't even a natural born citizen. He failed twice to produce a real birth certificate! He can't be President!
Real estate moguls borrow taxpayers money from banks, that's how they get rich, they never use their own money, stupid.
Has Trump officially added his name to the Republican *Race To The Bottom* contenders yet, or is he still mulling over his chances? Oops, my bad. NO ONE from the right is officially running for President, are they? Having too much fun gallivanting around GOPerville for their meet and greet pandering, I suspect.
Blind leading the Blind !
The Republicans are a bad joke now.
