Trump to address Tea Party rally in Florida

Washington (CNN) – Real estate mogul Donald Trump, whether he makes a run for president or not, is stepping up his political travels.

Trump's office confirms that he will address the South Florida Tea Party rally in Boca Raton April 16th, one of a number of tea party events planned around the country during the weekend before the tax deadline.

His appearance is the third event he plans to attend in early primary or caucus states important to the GOP. He will speak at the Iowa Republican Party's Lincoln Day dinner in Des Moines, and plans a June appearance at the traditional "Politics and Eggs" breakfast series in New Hampshire. Both are traditional stops for likely candidates.

The Florida event is the Tea Party group's 3rd annual Tax Day rally, planned for Boca Raton's Sanborn Square.

South Florida Tea Party Chapter chairman Everett Wilkinson said he expects Trump to discuss tax reduction, and "his thoughts about how to get our country moving again".

"In every poll the Tea Party had, Donald Trump came out number one," Wilkinson said in a message to supporters. "America is tired of politicians giving speeches. We want to hear from people that have proven business experience. This should be an exciting day for America."

Trump has also maintained a busy non-political schedule, including a motivational speech in Spain and regular appearances on his NBC reality television series "Celebrity Apprentice." Despite hints he could enter the GOP field and seek the 2012 nomination for president, he has also been added to Fox News' lineup as a weekly guest.

Trump special counsel Michael Cohen said he received 87 speaking requests for Trump Tuesday. Cohen founded the ShouldTrumpRun website that's not affiliated with Trump's company, and said that 84 of the 87 event requests were political.

He is one of the countries biggest scam artists. He will fit in with the Tea Party crowd very well. They have been denying their true purpose since they started. However, with the average American IQ now below 80, and dropping fast. Just throw in a couple more reality shows, and America will be a country of bluthering idiots. All is takes now days to get a radical following is to Praise the LORD, and profess your christianity, and a million morons will follow you anywhere. Religion doesn't only enrich peoples lives, it controls and demeans just as many. I'm sure he will profess his chrisitanity at the Tea Party rally also. Amazing what demons and heretics hide behind religion.

This ignorant egomaniac is a loser. Even the right wingers are not that stupid to consider him for president.

Well, anyone affiliated with the tea party will go down [including Barfman] in the elections. Tea WHO? Tea for 2? Mark my word. We have enough problems with a 2 party system let along bringing a 3rd one to the table. Yada, yada, Blah, Blah...I CAN'T hear you!...

Oh yes, a billionaire trust fund kid who couldn't even balance his own ledger as the keynote speaker for the so-called Tea Party for fiscal responsibility. Why don't you all just start wear your white hooded robes and stop pretending this is anything more than what the rest of the world knows it's about.

Donald Trump was born on third base but tells everyone he hit a triple. If the tea party needs a gimmick then he's the man. People seem to forget that he has many more failures than successes. He wasted much of his father's fortune that was given to him, not earned by him.

Palin, Bachman and Trump- Frick Frack and Hack. you can pick which is which.
Pawlenty was the only truly viable ( credible may be a better choice of words) candidate and he chose not to run. This tells me A) he doesn't think Obama can be beat B) He thinks Obama is doing OK C) he's sitting back and will let the pack of crazies thin out before announcing.

This would be terribly funny if it weren't so pathetic. This man is, in the first place, a joke. Everything he has done has been tainted in some way or another. His Tv show is basically worthless, his business accumen is not abpve reproach, and as they used to say about fools names and faces in foolish places......He's always there!! Hubris is his middle name. Nothing is ever done quietly and in good taste........oh ....enough already. Haven't we had enough of him????...

["In every poll the Tea Party had

["America is tired of politicians giving speeches.”]
We want business people who are well known leeches!!

TRUMPet would “suck dry” and “absorb” all of the negative energy around him
Spewing hate, telling lies, boosting ratings with that shrewd and malacious grin!!
TRUMPet will NEVER be president and he knows that from the bottom of his heart!
He’s just out there – like Palin, ginGRINCH and Bachmann, very LOW on the American poll chart!!

    OBAMA/BIDEN 2012!!! Yes We Can!

When one accuses a sitting President of not being eligible after his credentials and the electionresults were certified by the Electorial College and the U S Senate they either do not understand the Constitutional safeguards to prevent ths very thing or they are stark raving mad and need institutionalization: Trump qualifies in bot instances.

If this doesn't alert everyone to just how wacked the Tea Party is, I don't know what else will. Trump as their #1 contender-how long before he has the USA declaring bankruptcy?

This is great news. The more this guy gets around, opens his mouth, and associates himself with the Tea Party, the more damage he'll continue to do. If he keeps this up until the elections, their party will be the biggest laughing stock in history (as if they weren't already).

He's a joke- he can't keep a wife, he's had 3 bankruptcies, and won't help anyone but himself . The poor of this country will become the "ultra-poor" and the rich will be super-rich. The middle class will cease to exist.

He's great at firing people, but he has no education in law, politics, or foreign relations. You can't have someone like him as president. Maybe they can keep him on and hire him as a cabinet member.

With the exception of the Micheal Vick incident, Obama has actually done a god job considering all the "stuff" he has had to deal with. It will take 10 presidents to undo the mess that Bush created, so considering he's only been in office 3 years- it hasn;t been that bad. (We've had worse!)

I don't understand why we continue to give this person any attention at all. It's absolutely outrageous that he thinks the American people are so shallow as to vote for him simply because he has money...this week that is! He honestly believes that we don't know that he has filed for bankruptcy several times or even worse, that we don't care. Enough is enough and CNN should just ignore him.

Sounds good. They are perfect for each other...both suited for reality TV where you don't need an edumacation or need any brains to qualify.

  22. seriously???

Anyone who thinks Trump would be a good President needs to listen to his rant against Rosie O'Donnell. Regardless of what you think of Rosie O'Donnell, it shows just what a low-class, slimeball idiot Trump is. You want President Trump ranting like that against the Chancellor of Germany?? Plus, just because you supposedly are a good business person DOES NOT make you a good President. Neither our COUNTRY or out GOVERNMENT IS NOT A BUSINESS!

I have lost all respect for this guy. For a time, I even took his crazy business ideas in some seriousness – like a 25% import duty on China. Then I thought... hmmm! the Chinese are not going to take that lying down. They too can retaliate, by dumping all the $$ holdings on Trump's head.

Now, I am sure, Trump is just a joker, and his wealth was handed down, and he just got lucky.
