Washington (CNN) – The President and Mrs. Obama will sit down with Oprah Winfrey for a taping of her talk show April 27th, a White House source confirmed to CNN.
This is the final season for Oprah's popular syndicated show, which she has hosted for 25 years. She famously endorsed then-Senator Obama in his bid for president in 2007 on CNN's "Larry King Live." That was the first time the talk show queen inserted herself into a presidential race. Winfrey went on to campaign for Obama and was very visible at his election night victory rally in Chicago's Grant Park.FULL STORY
