Trump takes aim at Bill Cosby

Washington (CNN) – Business mogul Donald Trump is aiming his latest war of words against Bill Cosby, saying the famous comedian is "incoherent" and "dishonest"

Trump's outburst – which came in a written statement Monday – followed comments last week by Cosby during an appearance on NBC's Today Show, during which he declared Trump either needs to run for president now or "shut up."

"I was surprised to hear him blabber, somewhat incoherently 'you run or shut up,'" Trump said in the statement. "The hatred was pouring out of his eyes when he said this. As I am sure he must know I cannot run until this season of Celebrity Apprentice ends."

Trump added Cosby had been friendly to him during a previous encounter backstage at The Late Show with David Lettermen, having then offered to buy the reality television star a suit.

"I wish he would be more honest, and if he doesn't want me to run because he's obviously an Obama fan, he should state the reasons and not come into my "green room" in front of numerous witnesses and treat me like his best friend, only to denigrate me when I'm not around," Trump said in the statement.

Wow, guess we should add "The Whiner" to "The Donald's" nicknames!

Bill Cosby tells Trump to put up or shut up and Trump gets all huffy, saying he feels "denigrated"?

Talk about thin-skinned ... perfect running mate for the Quitta from Wasilla ...

Bill Cosby has more integrity and class in his baby toe than Donald Trump has in his entire body. Trump is dislusional and is one of the biggest liars of all times. He can take his crooked financial dealings and go straight to hell!

Uh, Mr. Trump. You shouldn't go there. Cosby is giving you all of the rope you need to demonstrate why your personality is not suited for the office of POTUS. Donald, you are swatting at flies. The picture you are painting of yourself is that you are somewhat of a loose cannon.

We already know that you have a temper. You are showing us that you are someone who would be all to eager to use the nuclear option to make his point. You are not presidential material, Donald. You are sounding more like a mafia boss, than a seriouis candidate. Offering challenges, Donald? That's simply nuts.

I agree with Crosby. Yes we know Trump can't declare to run until Apprentice is ended. Trump needs to give his input to getting the country on track, not rant on an already proven fact that Obama was born in Hawaii.

"I am sure he must know I cannot run until this season of Celebrity Apprentice ends."

Precisely the kind of statement a "potential future President of the United States" should be making. Why, if I didn't know better, this reveals him as even MORE qualified.

Donald Trump is becoming a joke. His mouth runs like a faulty faucet. I just wish he should either contest now or keep his peace.

Trump even though I give you prop about being the one person to stand up against big oil, and not doing what these scary other repugs doing by deflecting blame to Obama, allowing their big oil friends to dooms they please with the American consumers. But their is a line that you must respect, would you want someone to demagogue your friend based upon lies which every one knows and some want to accept because they hate Obama that much. Wouldn't you try to defend your friend if you know he wasn't defending himself, especially when you knows the things they are saying about him are proven by facts to be untrue, wouldn't you?

What is Trump thinking?! Nice Donald, go after one of the most beloved entertainers in America, a guy praised by both the left and right. That will help your chances of winning a national election. And by the way, ease off the tanning. I don't think social conservatives are crazy about metrosexuals.

Donald, please do all Democrats a favor and run for president. Unfortunately, you'd never win the Republican nomination, but if you did you'd assure an easy reelection for Obama.

Cosby is incoherent and dishonest? Trump is the most narcissistic and egotistical jerk out there. I'll take Cosby over Trump any day of the week.

Now Trump is trashing Bill Cosby? "Blabber incoherently?" "Hatred pouring out?" Really? Just cause Cosby said, essentially, "put up or shut up?" Trump has got to be the most insecure person on the planet. He has to lash out at anyone who disagrees with him. Of course it's perfectly OK for Trump to trash the President relentlessly, on personal grounds. Constantly telling everyone how his sh*t is "the best" and "the gold standard." People who constantly have to tell you how great they are are suffering from poor self esteem. Trump is the poster boyfor that.

Trump is a lower who has bankrupted more companies than he has built. Hiding behind America's corporate friendly bankruptcy laws is not honorable.

"because he's obviously an Obama fan" pretty funny. Cosby is a known conservative for the most part.

Trump is NOT running anyway, it is all for one thing:

Yes, the donald, it is a conspiracy against you. A lot of us are tired of the dozen R "candidates" who are "not running." He must be drinking Obama's kool-aid because he doesn't worship your greedy, gluttonous behind.

Your birther fallacy is becomming more clearly a pattern with you. Are you drying to out-Beck Beck?
