BREAKING: House passes 2011 budget deal

Washington (CNN) - The House of Representatives passed legislation Thursday funding the federal government for the remainder the current fiscal year and cutting $38.5 billion in spending.

The bill is also expected to be cleared by the Senate on Thursday and then signed into law by President Barack Obama.

Speaker Boehner is getting Washington politicians back on the side of the American citizen. Imagine a federal funding bill that was not written by the unions or the banks or the car companies or Walll Street... it can be done.

Too little and too late is worse than nothing at all. The fact is, there are only cuts from a budget that was never passed in the first place. Had they done nothing, the government would have closed down and forced a result. As is, there isn't any but the status quo.
