House to vote on budget-cutting deal Thursday

Washington (CNN) - The U.S. House of Representatives is scheduled to vote Thursday on about $40 billion in budget cuts for fiscal year 2011. Then within 24 hours, the package must pass the Senate and be signed by President Obama.

Representatives are expected begin making speeches on the budget package Thursday morning, with a final vote likely by early evening, according to the website for House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, R-Virginia.

Eric Cantor promised it will pass. Now we will see if he is as inept as Boner. I am beginning to think the republican insane asylum in the house is being run by the inmates.

This should be interesting to see how the TEA party faction of the GOP votes. Speaker Boehner was supposed to line up enough votes to pass it, which means he needs to reach across the aisle to get what he needs. Some of the TEA party caucus is going to have to get kicked to the curb.

This is the pre-season folks. The real season for budget battles starts Friday.

These repugs are determined to to pit a stop to the Job recovery, threatening to shut down the government and And cutting buying customers money by billions of dollars. Now we will be getting less revenue toward the budget, when they cut billions of dollars which means millions of jobs on a shaky recovery going down the drain. When will they understand, it doesnt how much businesses the rich folks open, if you take away their customers, how the he'll do you expect them to survive. These repugs are destined to pull back our country into that nasty recession Obama and the dems just brought us out of by reversing the mechanism that they use to have successful job growth for the past 13 months. the thing that make it so bad is that the dems are jumping on the repugs deficit band wagon to destruction, when they know the job markets are not that stable to stand up to billions of dollars, Taken from the job making mechanism.

Democrats need to stand up to these out-of-control extremist republicans and bring the discourse at least back to the center, if not more. The republicans have gotten us way off course, and they're turning the country into a dystopia of gargantuan proportions, where the only 'value' left in the society is measured by the amount of the corporate profit and/or tax cut.

That kind of greed sickness is a recipe for disaster, as we've already gotten a preview of from the complete failure of the bu.$h administration. In a situation where the income of the richest 2% has increased almost 20 percent while everyone else's income in real dollars has FALLEN, you'd think some of these right wingers who have had their income decline as a result of republican policy would wake up and get it that when they support republicans, they're not supporting their own interests, but the interests of the richest 2 percent – supporting the richest in getting even richer, at the expense of the very people who are voting for them.

After listening to all the big ideas of what to cut Why is it that the big issue is the Social Security/Medicare? That progran is in trouble I agree. WHY? Is the goverment responsible for creating it by using the money in the first place for things that it was never intended for.
Our goverment wants people to work until they die.Pay to support their big idea's that never work for the betterment of this country. We have more problems here than we can fix yet we are trying to take care of other places .
I think one solution is what seems to work for the private sector is NO RAISES for anyone that is in the White House ,Senate or Represenitives until our Debt is paid ,no more aide to other countries at the expense of the people that live in our own. This country was built on the backs of the people that worked to build what we use to have in this country, now because they no longer pay taxes and the taxpayers dollar is going to help them survive ,The goverment wants them to live on less or not at all.
We have alot of PORK projects that could save Millions , Fraud that has been going on for years in many sectors of goverment ,so quit taking the easy way and get to work and do the job your big salaries are paying you to door you may not have one come next election.
