'Chilling expose' on Palin to be released

(CNN) – Simon & Schuster is set to release a tell-all book by a former aide to Sarah Palin that the mega publishing house is promising will provide an "explosive, up-close view" of the former Alaska governor.

The upcoming book, by former aide Frank Bailey, will be released May 24 and promises to be a "chilling expose," according to Howard Books, the imprint of Simon & Schuster that is publishing the book.

Called "Blind Allegiance to Sarah Palin," the book will detail Bailey's observations of the governor from the time he joined her political team in 2006 until she resigned her governorship three years later.

Excerpts of the preliminary draft of the book were leaked to the Anchorage Daily News in February and reportedly included charges by Bailey that Palin despised her job as governor and may have broken campaign election laws in 2006.

The 500-page manuscript also reportedly described a Palin deeply exasperated with her political opponents and the heightened attacks she faced after being tapped to be the GOP vice presidential nominee in 2008. Palin resigned as governor in July of 2009.

The book is also written by Jeanne Devon, a longtime critic of the former governor who publishes the anti-Palin blog Mudflats, and California author Ken Morris, who has written anti-Palin articles on his own website

When the manuscript was first leaked, a Palin spokesperson said the former Alaska governor was not going to respond to "this kind of untruth."

What is genuinely chilling is the fact that this crazy woman and her wacko church believe the end of times is near and necessary for Jesus to come back and rule all the true believers. They believe that all their followers will survive and everyone else will burn. Now think of this woman being president and having the ability to make it happen with her finger on the button for our nuclear arsenal.

Poor Palin........it is always an untruth when someone says something about her....but it is okay for her to tell untruths about President Obama and her followers think she is telling the truth......She is a typical GOP hypocrite.

Well I guess they are happy in spreading their own "untruth" but tell me someone...why say untruth rather than lies. I don't get it...someone anyone?

Although not a huge fan of "kiss and tell" books, a friend who taught school in Anchorage during the reign of Princess Sarah I has related MANY disturbing stories about her antics. Even when she was the vice presidential candidate and eventually the flavor of the week with the right wing, those tales of her erratic behavior at press conferences and during chance meetings with the public, would haunt me. Not surprised that someone would finally blow the whistle on her. Wonder why it took so long?

When the manuscript was first leaked, a Palin spokesperson said the former Alaska governor was not going to respond to "this kind of untruth." – But of course, that was based on only the first half of the book, since she got flustered and quit reading there.
I probably won't be buying this book – but it's not because I'm a fan of Palin's. It's more because I'm so tired of hearing ANYthing about her, I have no desire to spend money to inflict the thought of her on myself any more than it already has been by the media. That, and since I usually buy books based on the reasonable prospect of learning something by reading them, and I can't imagine that much of anything in this one would be much of a surprise in the first place, there's just not the incentive to spend time reading it.

Love how the Palin "spokesman" says she won't respond to this "untruth" before the thing is even released. Not even trying to hide being a liar. No wonder he works for Palin.

Sounds like a best seller on the Left Wing reading list. A book by a disgruntled former employee and an Anti-Palin blogger ought to be riveting reading. I'm amazed at how much Palin scares the left.
