Trump takes on Rove

Washington (CNN) – If Donald Trump runs for president, he won't be looking to former top Bush strategist Karl Rove for advice.

Rove became Trump's latest target in an interview with Fox News Thursday night.

"Karl Rove has a loser issue...[he] is the man that ran Bush into the ground," Trump said. "Bush finished so weak that we ended up getting Obama. He ran the man into the ground."

Trump's comments follow recent criticisms from Rove, who has said Trump should not be taken as a serious potential candidate because of his insistence to dwell on the birther issue.

"The more I see about Karl Rove, the more I realize: maybe it wasn't completely Bush's fault," Trump added. "The fact is that Abraham Lincoln couldn't have beaten Obama because Bush finished so weakly, so I don't want to listen to Karl Rove."

Happy Earth Day everybody. Enjoy the clean air and water while you can before the
Teacans decide the polluters can regulate themselves. Like someone said, its like letting the
    fox guard the chicken house.

Trump and Rove....two narcissistic motor mouths. Would be a great reality TV program for an audience to see which one would be first to sell the Brooklyn bridge . And, even more interesting, to witness those who would buy it.

So I guess the "lamestream media" is still keeping this issue in the news, right sheep? Mr Combover goes on that oh so fair and balanced network and STILL babbles on and on. All the better in my opinion for as long as the GOP continue to discuss this issue amongst themselves, no one with a working brain will listen to them about anything else

Like I have commented before, I don't see Carl Rove throwing his hat into the ring. That's because the "Liberal Press" will crush him. Carl Rove has a dark cloud hanging over him. That's the CIA's operative which he disclosed the the late Robert Novak. After the news borke about the CIA operative Carl Rove resigned as Senior Advisor to forme President Bush. Carl Rove and Robert Novake committed "Teason" and the both of them got away with it. So I wouldnt put too much stock in what Carl Rove says. He might turn colors and wind up becoming a Democartic Senior Advisor they would welcome him with open arms. Carl Rove is a Trader.

Rove can`t control Trump--- that`s the whole problem. Say whatever you will, Trump is Trump and will not easily bend to the REAL powers within the Republican Party.

Trump wouldn't bother speaking unless it had something to do with making money and he's right about what he said regarding Bush and Rove. Rove's outreach to the far right corner of American society had lasting reprecussions on the end of Bush's administration. If Donald did run, which I don't think he will, his main purpose for speaking on TV is to drive his ratings up for his TV shows. Imagine that, free camera time! And what news Channel is playing at his casinos?

The Donald is not serious at all and he is needling Karl Rove without thinking. Trump should ask "Am not a witch" (Christine O'Donnell) what happened to her. It won't take longer the name Trump will be trashed!

The GOP fears the creation of a new party the most........and Trump as an independent, scares them the most, because they have no leading contenders that can win now........if an independent dilutes the vote, the GOP cannot win, and they know it.

There are simply too many illiterate people, who will vote Dem, no matter what, because they see the Dems as the party of freebies for them, and not what they really are............wealthy and powerful people who dole out a few crumbs, while taking the loaf for themselves.

Well, Trump's right, he doesn't need a Karl Rove to run himself into the ground, he's doing it all by himself. Or rather, he would be doing it all by himself if he were serious about running. I believe that he could technically be a powerful candidate – not because he's qualified but because he has the money and the means to promote himself – but either he is totally stupid for starting his campaign like this, or he isn't even remotely serious about actually running.
