(CNN) - As Katie Couric gets set to leave CBS News after five years in the anchor chair, it doesn't appear as if Sarah Palin will be sending any flowers.
Appearing on Fox News Tuesday, Palin mocked the CBS newswoman who told People Magazine she is looking forward to a new position that will facilitate "multi-dimensional storytelling."
"Yeah, and I hear that she wants to now engage in more 'multi-dimensional story telling' versus I guess just the 'straight on, read into the, that teleprompter screen story telling,'" Palin said. "More power to her. I wish her well in her - 'multi-dimensional story telling.'"
Palin has repeatedly made clear she is still no fan of Couric, whose interview with Palin produced one of the most memorable political foibles of the 2008 presidential campaign.
In a series of interviews with Couric authorized by the McCain campaign, Palin stumbled over a number of questions, most memorably when asked, "When it comes to establishing your world view…what newspapers and magazines did you regularly read?"
Palin appeared unable to name a single publication – a performance for which she was much maligned – and later said she found the question insulting, as well as emblematic of a liberal slant in the mainstream media.

At least she doesn't write it on her hand!! She also sounds way more intelligent when she speaks and doesn't ramble on like Palin.
What a class-less ignorant comment from Palin. How many years did it take Sarah to get her college degree, 10 years?
Just admit it Sarah...she exposed you for the fraud that you are. Stop blaming her for doing her job.
Maybe Couric should head to CNN as a copy editor. Clearly this story lacked the oversight of one.
"Palin has repeatedly made clear she is still no fan of Couric, who's interview with Palin..."
Really? Are you all a serious news organization or run out of Breitbart's basement?
Palin, being asked what papers you read is not a liberal "gotcha" question. It was not like Palin was not forewarned that she was going to be interviewed. Being asked about obscure questions about complex laws is a gotcha question or being shown a compromising picture of yourself and then being asked your thoughts on it qualifies as a gotcha question. But Palin looked ridiculous because she was not prepared to answer basic questions.
Sarah Palin is a bitter, vindictive little woman. Doesn't she get tired of finding ways to blame others for her ignorance?
Silly Sarah still holds a grudge against Katie for letting the world know that she's dumb. I think the "multi-dimensional story telling'" she's referring to Silly Sarah is about the network YOU work for.
So Palin is STILL steamed that she was stumped with "what newspapers and magazines did you regularly read?" from three years ago? Who knew that question was so devastating! Score a BIG one for the genius of Couric there.
Palin, whatever you say, only idiots care for it.
so, keep talking to idiots and making money with them. You are like a TV-preacher.
Evil will be declined at the end even those they won at first.
So Sarah Palin got "owned" by Katie Couric.
Whoopie – now get over it and move on.
And you know what else, Ms. Palin??
At one time I had some respect for you and your "limited government" stance.
But not anymore.
Not if your stance is now petty catfighting and pointless insults.
Get over it Sarah!
Palin is just upset that Couric using words such as multi-dimensional.
Multi-dimensional is a concept that Sarah just doesn't understand I guess.
Perfidious Palin pales in comparison w/ career anchor Couric's experiences. Couric has been in the media long before Palin was born into the political playground. Now, Palin's IQ is treading in the negative territory.
A bully trying to get in the last word! Sarah and The Donald, always up for a smear!
Grown ups? NOT! Able to represent the American people? NOT!
Good fodder for the GObP nomination mill. Please RUN, both of you, people will laugh all the way to the polls!
Way to go, you snarky cow. Is it too much to ask the GOP to vet their candidates for immaturity and arrogance?
Stay classy, Sister Sarah. And keep collecting those paychecks from right-wing evangelical colleges who hold you - and your "faith" - in such high regard.
Are we a little jealous? Katie has a brain and you don't!
Sarah is so very good a "Mocking". And slamming. And refudiating. It's all the poor thing's got.
Palin's excuses are weak, to say the least. She could not answer the questions on national television and is blaming Couric for it. How can she blame the media when viewers saw her screw up live and in person!
Careful there, Sarah. Katie lasted longer at her most recent gig than you lasted at yours.
What a truly vile and loathsome person Sarah Palin has become ... proving once again that money can't buy class.
It's SARAH PALIN, for goodness sakes! Who cares what she thinks. Whoops, I meant who cares what she says; she is not known for thinking.
Good riddance Katie Couric. You were a failure at CBS news. Take your biased reporting elsewhere and tank them as well.
Palin is not in a position to make fun of anyone. Katie Couric is a well respected journalist.
