Palin mocks Couric over CBS exit

(CNN) - As Katie Couric gets set to leave CBS News after five years in the anchor chair, it doesn't appear as if Sarah Palin will be sending any flowers.

Appearing on Fox News Tuesday, Palin mocked the CBS newswoman who told People Magazine she is looking forward to a new position that will facilitate "multi-dimensional storytelling."

"Yeah, and I hear that she wants to now engage in more 'multi-dimensional story telling' versus I guess just the 'straight on, read into the, that teleprompter screen story telling,'" Palin said. "More power to her. I wish her well in her - 'multi-dimensional story telling.'"

Palin has repeatedly made clear she is still no fan of Couric, whose interview with Palin produced one of the most memorable political foibles of the 2008 presidential campaign.

In a series of interviews with Couric authorized by the McCain campaign, Palin stumbled over a number of questions, most memorably when asked, "When it comes to establishing your world view…what newspapers and magazines did you regularly read?"

Palin appeared unable to name a single publication – a performance for which she was much maligned – and later said she found the question insulting, as well as emblematic of a liberal slant in the mainstream media.

Palin has no class and consistently reaffirms the fact that she is wholly unqualified to hold any relevant political position of power and importance. She harbors hatred and malice towards those who believe differently from her and has never once shown herself to be an adult by taking the high road.

Just another bully on the play ground – except she hides when spewing her hate. I call her out for the coward she is...

She stumbled over the question because idiots don't read, they are too busy running their mouths making ignorant comments.

Why do you (CNN) keep covering the infantile remarks of this nitwit?

Palin is ignorant, but I will say she is a good speaker. Obama has shown his birth certificate, not it is her turn to show her high school diploma!

I'm glad Palin commented on this. It reminds people that even a mediocre journalist like Couric can get Palin to make a fool of herself. It's really not a challenge.

It seems that she holds a grudge against someone who is more intelligent, more successful, and much more liked but the general public.

So, let's see. Couric leaves at the end of her contract. Palin quit in the middle of her term as governor. Exactly which action is more admirable?

Now I won't sleep for days, worried about Palin's attitude over Couric quitting. Poor Palin, she misses the limelight.

Whon s this woman, again? Couric is smarter, prettier and a better woman hands down against the dumb dumb that couldn't name one newspaper she read.
From the same woman who used a teleprompter that could be seen in the reflection of those ugly looking hide my cross eyes glasses of hers.
Couric 's question was simple. The bimbo's non answer said everything we needed to know about her. I am glad that after being a no show for the past few weekz that couric gave her an opportunity, once again, to show the world what a complete dumb behind you are.
Now get lost. Go crawl back under your rock!!! That voice!!!!!! You are just irritating all over. Go talk to franklin. He was giving you the I want to you know what you!!!!

Sarah P once again demonstrates who/what she is: a petty, vindictive, immature person who, even though she wants to be seen as a christian, continues to hold unforgiveness against someone who asked her questions she couldn't answer. Seems awfullly silly, and also a warning. Those are not the proper traits for an aspiring president or role model should be conveying.

Oh, please. Ms. Couric has had staying power, a long and impressive journalistic career and is simply moving on to a new opportunity. Ms. Palin, however, has overstayed her 15 minutes. Americans are sick of hearing from political pit bulls with no real thought or plan behind their commentary.

Softball questions are not indicative of a liberal slant. Softball is actually too tough. This was a tee ball shot, and Palin swung and knocked over the stand.
