(CNN) - As Katie Couric gets set to leave CBS News after five years in the anchor chair, it doesn't appear as if Sarah Palin will be sending any flowers.
Appearing on Fox News Tuesday, Palin mocked the CBS newswoman who told People Magazine she is looking forward to a new position that will facilitate "multi-dimensional storytelling."
"Yeah, and I hear that she wants to now engage in more 'multi-dimensional story telling' versus I guess just the 'straight on, read into the, that teleprompter screen story telling,'" Palin said. "More power to her. I wish her well in her - 'multi-dimensional story telling.'"
Palin has repeatedly made clear she is still no fan of Couric, whose interview with Palin produced one of the most memorable political foibles of the 2008 presidential campaign.
In a series of interviews with Couric authorized by the McCain campaign, Palin stumbled over a number of questions, most memorably when asked, "When it comes to establishing your world view…what newspapers and magazines did you regularly read?"
Palin appeared unable to name a single publication – a performance for which she was much maligned – and later said she found the question insulting, as well as emblematic of a liberal slant in the mainstream media.

OMG this sick dummy who could not answer 4th grade questions would have something to say about Couric's leaving.
Palin is not only dumb, but petty- no news there. If you can't take the heat and answer a simple soft ball question, or finish more than a half term as governor, then maybe political office isn't for you-
Ms. Palin you are a petty minded fool. Couric did not quit mid term as you did. Stress the importance of education and information; the days where high school dropouts get cushy jobs are long gone. You are doing a disservice to the country by glorifying idiocy and ignorance.
Enough already! Can't Palin go back into her cave and hibernate for the rest of our lives. She is such a professional by attacking Katie Couric for doing her job! It was a reasonable question that would have been asked of any candidate and yet, because Palin's answer (or lack of an answer) was lampooned on SNL and other comedy programs, it is the "Liberal Media" who is at fault for asking the question in the first place. Wow! Such logic. Hey Sarah, I most definitely will NOT be voting for you whenever you run for President, school board secretary, or jury foreperson.
I don't vote for unprofessional, media-whoring, quitters who only want to be in the public eye to fatten their wallets and attack those who ask legitimate questions of those who want to make decisions for me and my offspring for decades to come. Please go away!
$arah Palin can't hold Katie Couric's jockstrap. Katie has integrity, grace, intellectual capacity, professionalism, and sophistication. Palin can't even spell most of those words, much less know what they mean or exhibit any of their characteristics.

I never did understand this. It always seemed like such a softball question to me. Name a newspaper for goodness sake – Times, Post - whatever. Even after the stumbling why not just laugh it off. It seemed like Palin made it into such a big deal by her reaction. I just never thought about Couric being known as a "hard hitting journalist" trying to trap people. How in the world is asking what newspaper or magazines you read to shape your world view a liberal question? Don't Republicans read?
