Palin's doppelganger?

(CNN) - It's to be determined if she has the Alaskan accent down, but actress Julianne Moore appears to have nailed the look.

People Magazine has scored the first photograph of the actress in costume as the former Alaska governor for the upcoming HBO movie, Game Change.

Moore, a four-time Oscar nominee, was tapped last month to play the former vice presidential candidate in an HBO adaptation of the book by journalists Mark Halperin and John Heilemann that details the inner workings of the historic 2008 campaign.

I think she looks more like Palin than Tina Fey – and Tina Fey is a pretty good likeness.

this should work as a comedy – but oh my gosh – is there no way get palin, beck, limbaugh and trump to go someplace where they have no phone, tv, email, twitter, facebook, just a quiet little tent somewhere far far away and we will call them if we ever need them - lol

Why? Why waste such talent on this hillbilly? The money could be used to help the poor instead of line the pockets of this viper. Why? Jullian, you lost credibility with me.

Odd that the popular opinion is that palin isn't worth mentioning, but the media and her other detractors can't seem to stop talking about her.

I wonder if the actress hung out in special ed classes to get a grasp of Palin's intellect.

It happens in rare circumstances but applies here, the subject
is actually hotter than the hollywood actress playing the part.

I bet Julianne Moore is more than anxious to get rid of that look at the end of her work day. Talk about getting the heebie jeebies when looking in the mirror. YIKES! Can't see if Julianne has the "crazy eyes" look down, though, or the mean pit-bull jaw look.

I'm getting pretty sick of movies made on recent events. This stuff is still fresh in our minds. Who needs to see someone else's skewed view of it?

LOVE IT! i'm less concerned with the Alaska accent, and more concerned with if she's able to dumb down enough for the role!?

Palin had a few game changer moments in 2008.

    -her acceptance speech
    -her interview with Couric
-her appearance on Saturday Night Live
-her reaction to the financial crisis (can't remember it, can you?)

Sarah better milk the cash machine as hard as she can. She and her family have been reduced to cartoon jokes. It's time to drift back to irrelevance. Maybe you should focus on keeping your other daughters from following in Bristol's steps.

I love Julienne Moore – but just seeing that picture turns my stomach – even a fake Palin is too much Palin.

Just remember Julianne Moore you have to play the part like you were Rain Man or Forrest Gump.
