Washington (CNN) - President Obama seemed to take aim at Donald Trump Wednesday evening in New York when he said the reasoning behind the release of his long form birth certificate was “trying to remind the press and trying to remind both parties that what we do in politics is not a reality show. It’s serious.”
The remarks came the same day that Trump, the businessman, reality television personality and possible contender for the 2012 GOP nomination, said he was “proud” of his efforts and took credit for the release of Obama’s long form birth certificate earlier in the day.
“Today was a fun day,” the president said as he began his remarks. “Nobody checked my ID at the door.”

Then why did he release it? If he was going to release it all along, why did he do it on the day that the Fed chairman was giving his first ever press conference? Maybe he is hoping that his birth certificate will take the headlines this week rather than what the Fed chairman says, hoping it won't remind people of the financial crisis he has put us in. It looks to be working, for those too stupid to notice.
Very bright of you Mr. President. Give these birther nuts the medicine they asked for. We are all pieced off of their behaviour ashaming the entire nation.
The first group of protestors were quickly escorted out of the room, but as the second group was escorted out, Obama said they should be able to stay. “They made their point,” he said.

No, Mr. President, no one checked your ID at the door as you entered. There will be some folks demanding your ID as you leave. They remind me of the racial profiling state trooper who wants to "check your license and registration" just because you have a nice car; they want to make sure you didn't steal it. When you demonstrate that it is yours, they struggle to find some reason to demonstrate that you did. When that doesn't work you get arrested on general principle and charges made up, witnesses conjured up, evidence created, and any other crimes that you have committed debated.

It's hard to believe that Trump could be made to look like even more of a fool than he usually does himself, but thankfully that is exactly what happened.

I think it is great that Obama takes a poke at someone that gets rich off of bankruptcies and the backs of hardworking Americans. Trump has proven that he is an idiot that has no clue how to work with a global economy and has no understanding that fuel prices are high accross the globe and the US has no control over the world prices or OPEC. Trump also fails to see the fact that 80% of imported oil comes from Canada where prices are near $6.00 a gallon at the pump. The country that sends oil to the US for fuel is paying more then the US at the pump. You would think that Trump would understand business but fails to see that the countries that import to the US dont have control of pricing and he is sadly mistaken if he thinks that he can bring down prices.It is a shameful day when a scoundrel like Trump gets airtime to disgrace Americans and the POTUS.

Well, the business he is in IS serious, but he wouldn't know it, because he has been too busy campaigning from day one and continues to do that rather than govern our country. Someone should have checked his ID before he even ran for President, because then they would have known how incompetent he is and that it was a horrible mistake for him to even consider running.
