(CNN) – Take a look at how newspapers around the country covered the death of al Qaeda leader bin Laden by clicking the headline above.

I found the headlines on the NYC newspaper controlled by Rupert Murdoch to be a bit troubling. The words inspired adrenaline: not celebration, not closure, not optimism, not anything worth repeating.

Can't wait for the conspiracy theories...

"Obama is claiming this just so he can distract from his forged birf surtifikate"

"those pictures are all of a soundstage, just like the moon landing"

"riiiiiiiight, they dumped he body in the ocean...wink wink..."

"everyone knows it was probably just a body double...bin laden is really living in an abandoned MacDonald's in the middle of nowhere in Kansas because he loves the payground, especially the hamburger shaped merry-go-round"

Let us not forget that Bill Clinton had several opportunities to kill Osama and passed on them and then 9/11 happened and George Bush made a pledge to finish the job and finally after nearly 10 years the task has been fulfilled. Let us not forget that when opportunity knocks, we answer it...too many dead and wounded soldiers to just brush this off.

Care to post what they were to back up your rather lame assertions? I guess you can't pass up any opportunity to take a swipe at the Murdock. I suppose you have something to say about Fox News coverage as well? Honestly, you need to take a deep breath and think about some of the nonsense you post here.

No, he didn't. In fact, he tried on at least two occasions to take out bin Laden, but was not successful.

You're confusing this with GW Bush ignoring the August 6, 2001 President Daily Briefing that warned that al Qaeda was determined to attack the US with airplanes (not to mention Bush letting bin Laden slip over the border into Pakistan in the first place).

Luv the pictures of the mindless, jingoistic "real Americans" cheering in the streets. Is that really what we've become? Sad.

The Day of Financial Reckoning is HERE – The Great Democrat Welfare Society Ends: I do have something to say about Fox News coverage last night, because I checked it out:

After the President's address, Fox started airing a show about the royal wedding. All the other stations (CNN, MSNBC, etc.) were broadcasting information about the raid as it came in, getting perspective from various analysts, etc.

Fox and Murdoch are very biased against President Obama and the Democrats – that is FACT.

And, of course, here it comes: WHERE'S HIS DEATH CERTIFICATE?!?!?!?

My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the many thousands who lost their lives on 9/1, and also to those who have lost their lives in Military service since 9/11. Thank you to all of our brave men and women who serve our Military, our Special Ops forces, our Intelligence communities ... and, lastly, thanks to President Obama. Justice IS well served.

Ok...I like the headline, but the whole buried at sea story. Something smells fishy there. We all know that you can photoshop just about anything you like, including a dead Osama. Why get rid of the evidence of his death. I could give a crap about any tradition of buriel. His death needs confirmation/ and worldwide as well as USA presentation. I'd go as far as to say they should have kept internal organs/ and possibly his head for confirmations. Imagine the consipiracy theorists on this fast mechanism of disposal?? We still get siteings of Elvis and he was confirmed by more than a few. It just doesn't make sense to bury a guy, in an non retrievable way ( ocean), unless there is an attempt to cover up something. No one can now second guess/ or request to review the governments information/ retrieval or confirmation. Has our government ever lied to us before??? C'mon think about it. I'm not saying that the guy isn't dead, as I hope he is, but why go out of your way to get rid of evidence when there will always be those who need a smoking gun/ body/ full forensics and post death autopsy reviews by both private and government sources to confirm such a HUGE claim like this. Hell we even had the pics of Saddam's kids dead and more when the were killed. The only thing worse could be if they burned the body. Whoever made this decision publicly should resign. My bet is that in reality he's not in the ocean, but in a freezer on his way to the USA for further analysis and autopsy. We all heard about his dialysis needs/ and we could confirm his prior illnesses to further confirm the body as being OBL. There's my 2cnts.

The world is celebrating and rightfully so. This man Bin Laden created pain on all corners of the world. Other countries around the world are giving Obama and the US credit for this great defeat, rightfully so. However, the nay sayers in this country will find away to discredit President Obama for his effots to have this man removed from the face of the earth. To no ones surprise these naysayer will want to demonstrate their unAmerican spirit and make attempts to further divide this country. What a shame... To them I say please remember 911 and the families. President Obama, Yes! It's time to say Mission Accomplished!

I cannot post it. I suggest you google "The New York Post" yourself.
They expressed their freedom of speech in colorful metaphors.

    @ThinkAgain

The Fox News Channel must have been caught a little unprepared to give extensive live coverage of the breaking news. Much of their Sunday evening programming is pre-recorded stuff, with the occasional "news break" on the half-hour. I assume most of their top tier reporters were otherwise unavailable if they were not already in the studio when the news broke. NYC traffic was not at its' best during the late and overnight hours, and their studios are located right in the thick of the celebrations. Traffic control and street closures kicked in big time.
