U.S. forces kill elusive terror figure Osama bin Laden in Pakistan

(CNN) - DNA matching is under way on samples from the body of slain terrorist leader Osama Bin Laden, a U.S. government official told CNN on Monday.

There are photographs of the body with a gunshot wound to the side of the head that shows an individual who is not unrecognizable as bin Laden, the official said.

If this indeed the truth...I think it's awesome and kudos to the US Military and their hard work in hounding this guy. Major Kudos President Obama.

BUT........somehow, I feel like the president will STILL get grief from Fox News and the right. I mean...what will they be able to report now ??

The dow has been steadily going up,unemployment while still high,is going down steadily. Jobs are coming back....slowly,and now this.

If the people in this country...after all this, STILL elect a Republican in 2012.....we'll get everything we deserve.

I tell you what I want to really hear more than the president speaking. I want to hear what one Sarah Palin has to say about this.

Notice we haven't heard a thing from her on the presidents college transcripts. Could be the woman has no room to talk regarding that subject ?

Well Right-wingers. Given the big pile s%$^ the president inherited, I hope your 2012 canidate come come up with some really fesh ideas and show me how he can do better than what the current President is doing.

Hahahahaaha, and this is the 8th anniversary of Mission Accomplished by GW Bush. Look it up. No Kidding.

Think of all the lives that would have been saved or not maimed, if the shrub and the arrogant GOP had asked President Obama on how to get the job done!

Once again, the Dems clean up the puppy piles the GOP left behind.

Now, if only America will stop voting these GOP curs into office!

  16. 8 Years of "Trickle Down" economics has only left a dribbling wet spot on working Americans's shoes!

2 years versus 8 perhaps, if the shrub had kept his eye on the ball in Aghan and not gotten off on his elective war in Iraq that morphed into "We Meant Democracy" and went after the big bully "that tried to kill my daddy", this could have been done in 2 years instead of nothing from the useless Shrub administration but loss of American blood and treasure!

Osama Bin Laden is dead, Dead, DEAD!!!
And I wonder what will be said, Said, SAID???
About this FANTASTIC news that will bring NO GRIEF!!!
Would the CREDIT go to our COMMANDER IN CHIEF????

Many THINK and BLOG about our President and claim he is NOT doing anything for America. They want him to be a "one term" President and REFUSE to look at the BIG PICTURE and credit all of his accomplishments!!! The hate from the far-right is so obvious. Could they for ONCE – this time – give President Obama CREDIT???? We shall see!!!
