On Sunday he oversaw one of the riskiest special forces operations since Desert One, Jimmy Carter's ill-fated attempt to rescue the American hostages from Iran more than three decades ago.

Obama's good at his job. This is one of the reasons he was elected - he's competent, smart, capable and professional. We haven't had anything like that since Clinton was president.

It is easier for Obama to fight this war than it was for Bush. Bush's enemies in the war on terror were the democrats and the terrorists. Obama's enemies in the war on terror are just terrorists. It is a good thing that Obama had Republicans backing him on his decisions to beef up the Afghan war! The only time a Democrat rejoices in war time victory is when it benefits them politically.
Why is it that President Obama and so many others who were against the enhanced interrogation techniques can so easily settle themselves with the fact that this all came to pass due to the intelligence gathered that way years ago?
PLEASE, stop making Obama into something special that every other President hasn't done. Every President is a multi-tasker.

Kudos to the President and our Special Forces for pulling this off.
It shows everyone that just because the President seems to be having a little fun or going to places like Alabama or Florida as part of his duties (or even playing golf) it doesn't mean that he is NOT on the job.
Enough of the rethugs thinkikng that President Obama is soft on defense.
