Obama hopes unifying pride carries over to political debate

Washington (CNN) - The national unity that emerged in reaction to the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks has frayed in recent years, but some of it reappeared with the news that U.S. forces killed Osama bin Laden, President Barack Obama told a dinner for congressional leaders Monday night.

At the mention of the successful mission to eliminate bin Laden, Obama received a prolonged standing ovation from his dozens of White House guests who included Cabinet members and top senators and U.S. representatives from both parties.

Actually, I'd still like to see a PUBLIC TRIAL with ALL the EVIDENCE that prosecutes OsamaBinLaden. I will not be convinced that Bin Laden was responsible for 9/11 untill I've been able to see all the EVIDENCE layed out and argued in a COURT OF LAW!

Pres. Obama's decision to go in and get bin Laden was an easy decision. Every man, woman, and child would say yes if they were told by our intelligence we know where bin Laden is. Should we go and get him? If Americans had learned that Pres.Obama was told that bin Laden was in a compound, and he did not go after him, Pres. Obama would have voted out of office.

Good Luck with that Mr President. Remember how long that "civil discourse" deal lasted after Tucson earlier this year?

  8. Osama bin Laden Dead Dead Dead

99.99% of Americans agree that UBL was enemy #1 and needed to be hunted down and killed. 99.99% of Americans do not agree with almost everything Obama and the Democrats have done and are doing to America. This is a rather feable attempt to gain political advantage from a military operation.
