(CNN) - A federal appeals court issued an injunction Thursday to allow the name of former Olympic star Carl Lewis to remain on the ballot for the June 7 Democratic primary for a New Jersey state Senate seat.
The injunction requested by Lewis prevents ballots from being printed without his name, at least for now.
What, exactly, qualifies Lewis to run for such an office? Makes you wonder.
so put him on the ballot, and let the voters of NJ determine the outcome. the last time I checked, the ability to run quickly was not a qualification for public office.
