Giuliani could be 'talked into' running in 2012

Washington (CNN)-Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani admitted Friday that he can "probably be talked into" a run for the presidency.

While speaking to a group from the Republican National Lawyers Association at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., Giuliani asserted that his major goal is for a Republican to be elected as president in 2012.

But he wouldn't rule out his own bid when responding to the question of whether he will consider a run.

"Sure, but not right now," he said. "I enjoyed the debate so much last night…I will, sure, think about it, but not yet."

And if Giuliani turns out to be the best Republican for the job, the 2008 candidate for the GOP nomination said, "I could probably be talked into doing it."

Giuliani has made statements about thinking of a repeat run for the presidency, but hasn't committed either way.

CNN's Jeremy Moorhead contributed to this report.

If all the fundraising monies were loan to small business we would have full employment and probably have to import worker from other country. Sorry about that but true.

Giuliani's ignorant outburst at Congressman Ron Paul, during which Giuliani displayed his utter ignorance about the concept of political "blowback" as well as astounding arrogance and incivility, make it all the more amazing that he has the gall to consider running for president again. If the likes of Rudolph Giuliani, Mike Huckabee, Mitt Romney or Sarah Palin are the "best" the Republicans have to offer (according to the Republican establishment and Fox News) and President Obama is the best the Democrats have to offer, then may God help us all because we are in a death spiral we are not going to be able to pull out of.

He didn't do all that well in 2008, he has already been there and done that. The outcome would be the same. No, sorry, don't waste your money and our time.

By Who? Santa Clause and his little elves???
Now IF he is thinking about running in a marathon...
THAT he can do and run from here to BEYOND!!!

How many times has he tried this before?
When is he going to “GET IT” and close the door…
To the FACT that it takes a man that would represent all
And he ONLY appeals to the TP and that’ll be his downfall!!!

Who else can the GOP dig up for a possible run against Obama? They're scrapping the bottom of the barrel and still don't have a clear understanding of what American needs. Which is to say, we don't need any of their recycled choices.

If you need to be talked into running, then don't run. You really need to have the fire in your belly that you want to run to make a difference.

I bet you your goal won't be met. Because there Is no way a Republican going to win to be President. You republican are going to be lucky not to lose a lot of seat In the House and Senate. American people are trier of the Republican and the Tea Party Crap. We are trier of Republican looking out for the RICH AND BIG BUSINESS and the OIL COMPANY. And all way have the MIDDLE CLASS, THE POOR AND THE OLD pay for It. You had your Second chance and you blow IT. You better Get JOHN BOEHNER to have the Republican leave SS and Medicare and Medicaid a long , and Rise taxes on the RICH or on everyone. Because American people are not happy with the Paul Ryan PLAN at all.

Where is the heart felt conviction. Running for the office of president should not be, well maybe, we will see. The presidency is a serious matter and should not rest on partisan division among party lines. The world has changed a great deal and the perspective candidate should reflect the projected corse of direction that will sustain it's people in the short and long range, thus ensuring prosperity and staying power. Conservatism is a failed dinosaur and should be put out to pasture. He among other republicans are weak, tire and void of ideas. Obama is of a new breed, The first of many who will lead this nation into the millennium strong and of unquestionable authority and strength. The republicans are dead men walking. Period!

  22. GOP = Greed Over People

One would think almost 10 years of exploitation of the 3,000 dead on that tragic day, would be enough, for any human, but not for this shameless, pandering, and posturing creep.

Oh wait, he is not human, he is a Republican.
