Washington (CNN) - Most Americans don't think that Donald Trump has many of the traits they typically look for in a president - including honesty, empathy, and an ability to manage the government, according to a new national poll.
But a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey released Friday does indicate that the public says the billionaire businessman, real estate mogul and reality TV star is intelligent, tough enough to handle a crisis and not a typical politician. Trump has been flirting with running for the White House and says he'll announce by June whether he'll launch a bid for the Republican presidential nomination.
(CNN) - All footage from the upcoming CNN/WMUR/New Hampshire Union Leader debate will be made available to the public without any restrictions, the network announced Friday.
As previously announced, CNN will team up with WMUR and the Union Leader to host a GOP primary debate in the first-in-the-nation primary state on June 13.
Greenville, South Carolina (CNN) – Former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, a likely candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, called on President Barack Obama to release photos of Osama bin Laden's body Friday.
Speaking to a group of reporters the morning after his appearance in the first GOP presidential debate, Pawlenty said Al Qaeda's admission that bin Laden is dead does not settle the debate over releasing the photographs.
New York (CNNMoney) – More than 80% of Americans surveyed say the economy is in poor shape, with unemployment still the public's top concern, according to the latest CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey.
Not everyone is down in the dumps. Seventeen percent of Americans say the economy is somewhat good. Only 1% say the economy is very good.
(CNN) – The Fox News Republican presidential debate may have drawn little national attention and few top tier candidates, but it has proved to be a fundraising boon for Texas Rep. Ron Paul.
According to Paul’s campaign website, the likely presidential candidate who was extraordinarily successful in raising cash in 2008 is at it again – to the tune of more than $1 million in an online cash push dubbed a “money bomb.”
(CNN) - Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus issued the following statement to the April jobs report:
NEW YORK (CNNMoney) - The jobs recovery picked up speed in April, as business payrolls swelled and the unemployment rate rose as more people returned to the workforce.
The economy added 244,000 jobs in the month, the Labor Department reported Friday. That's up from the 235,000 jobs gained in March. Economists surveyed by CNNMoney were expecting a slight slowdown to a gain of just 185,000 jobs.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security released a notice tied to rail security Thursday. The unclassified notice to "federal, state, local and tribal partners" says that, in February 2010, al Qaeda members discussed a plan to derail trains in the United States by placing obstructions on tracks, according to a law enforcement source who received the notice. The plan was to be executed this fall to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the September 11 attacks.
