Why does the GOP hate women? Why are they targeting women and senior citizens and refusing to look at tax increases or defense cuts? It seems politically self-destructive.

This is what Indiana voted for. Maybe in the next elections they'll think just a little harder about the ideals they vote into office. MI can use the money, so send it our way!!!

Do you see where the GOTP priorities are? Not only does this raise costs for those who can least afford it, it raises state costs where they will have to make up the difference, and it will put quite a number of people out of work.

What can the GOTP possibly by thinking? These acts of desperation (there is no better term for grabbing while the grabbing is good) are troubling to me. It is almost as if they are acting as if this is the last chance to buy gas for the next 200 miles.

No. The law cuts funding to Planned Parenthood. CNN the Fox lite network twists the abortion angle into it.

So much for being "pro-life" – the conservatives have condemned to death many women who will no be unable to have routine health screenings. I'm sure that a few adult deaths make up for all the abortions that have been prevented, right?

    Absolutely pathetic.

Of course the Federal Judge denied the new Indiana Law governoring Planned Parenthood. The Federal Judges belong to Obama. Tis is something that Americans had better wake up to. Obama is slowly but surely is troying America's way of life all the while we set on our rears.

"...a controversial new Indiana law limiting access to abortion services."

This is a false description. The Indiana law forbids Medicare dollars from going to Planned Parenthood. Period.

If it were a law that only limited access to abortion services, then that is how it would have been written, but it was not written that way. It prevents women (and men) from obtaining ANY services from Planned Parenthood that would have used Medicare dollars.

This differs from existing law that ALREADY forbids the use of Medicare dollars for abortion services in that it EXPANDS the list of health care services for which Medicare can not be used to ... wait for it ... anything provided by Planned Parenthood. Only Planned Parenthood. Note that this still allows other providers to supply the exact same services ... as long as they aren't Planned Parenthood.

So, the correct description would be:

"...a controversial new Indiana law limiting access to Planned Parenthood for those who rely on Medicare for their health care services, forcing them to seek other, typically distant, providers of those same health care services."

So the liberal news media and Democrats are in their usual high lying mode today with this? Republicans have cut spending, THE SKY IS FALLING, THE SKY IS FALLING, women and children will die in the streets, millions will starve, oh, the travesty! boo hoo hooo.... Here's an idea. Why don't you all send them YOUR money to support this cause if you feel so strongly about it? Oh yeah, you have no job and no money.
