Cindy McCain blasts Glenn Beck

(CNN)– Cindy McCain isn't a fan of conservative host Glenn Beck. The wife of Arizona GOP Sen. John McCain tweeted her disdain for the departing Fox News pundit Wednesday saying, "I'm so glad Glenn Beck is leaving Fox. Enough vitriol and hate."

And if Beck was confused about his role on the network, which he's often equated with being an entertainer, Mrs. McCain sought to clear it up.

"Glenn, you are no rodeo clown," she said. "They are decent and nice. You aren't."

Beck might count two McCains with hard feelings since Meghan McCain later retweeted her mother's comments to over 107,000 followers. Cindy McCain has just under 6,000. Later, Meghan McCain sent a tweet of her own: "Does anyone know if Glenn Beck has daughters?"

Beck announced his split with Fox News in April, but will continue to develop and produce a variety of television projects to air on the channel, according to a joint statement. His daily show will end later this year.

I am glad the McCain's see through Beck. There are very few Republicans that I respect, and John McCain is one of them. I respect his service to the nation.
I also vividly remember when GW's campaign (with Rove) developed and ran a smear campaign again McCain in the primaries, and posting messages that McCain had a BLACK illegitimate daughter. The McCain's had actually adopted a young Bangladeshi child.
While the campaign by the Bush team was down right dirty, we also see the QUALITY of the GOP voter. They read and believe that McCain has a Black daughter, and they go vote for the shrub.

That is how bigoted most of the conservative voters are. The GOP only wins elections when they able to fool Americans that they really are no bigoted, or are against gays (except in Chenney's daughter's case), or are for family values, except when Newt goes about philandering (and he isn't the only one).
Conservatives in general a hypocritical bunch.

To bad McCain wasn't as good at picking a running mate as he is at picking a wife.

Don't waste your tweets McCain, because Beck doesn't know how to read. By the way, please thank John for introducing the American public to that idiot Palin. Please tell John not to do us any more favors.....

I love it when the right-wing starts to feed on itself. Even though I completely agree with both McCains' assessment of that pig, Glenn Beck, their ideology and father/husband helped create the atmosphere which Beck simply exploited.

They should really keep their mouths shut. What they don't want to accept is the fact that it is people like Beck that have made then what they are and where they are. A lot of their so-called success has come by media means. So, shut up girls and go about your days of polishing your nails and getting your hair done. If you don't like what Beck or other say, then don't listen!

Cindy McCain should know about vitriol and hate. This is a woman who wrecked Carol and John McCain's marriage (to be fair, John McCain shoulders as much of the blame as she does) and used her son's service as a campaign gimmick, declaring that Barack Obama voted to cut funding to her son in Iraq, which made her "blood run cold." Of course, we all know it was John McCain who voted to cut off his own son, when he voted against an appropriations bill that would have revived Congress' long-since abandoned obligation to oversee Bush's spending on the Iraq war. What a terrible "human being" Cindy McCain is.

Of course she's glad. The McCains hate Mormons, John's mom let us all know that back in 2008.

Finally a Republican who has the courage to stand up against the lies and misinformation Beck perpetrates daily. He, Limbaugh, and most of Fox conveniently leave out the whole story when they make points. They cover only what suits their right-wing agendas, and their supporters are too lazy, or too ignorant to do any research on their own, so believe every word. They have done more to destroy this country than any terrorist could do. What is happening in WI (and not the union issues, there is much, much more) is just the beginning. But, people are starting to wake up as they see how they do nothing but reward their biggest contributors and hurt the rest of us. Look at the oil subsidy issues...oil and gas interests have given over 73% of their campaign contributions to Republicans, and they get amply rewarded in turn. The nightmare goes on, and I only hope that people will start to wake up and see them for what they are.

Yeah Cindy McCain commenting on someone else's ability to be nice. Let's see, "Michelle Obama is about as phony as a $2.00 bill" and, "even if Michelle Obama isn't proud of her country, I am." Oh yes, Mrs. McCain, it's so awfully nice to call someone phony and then accuse them of being unpatriotic. I know, I know you prayed about it and the burning bush told you to do it so all is forgiven.

Well I'm glad one of the McCains is level headed enough to actually come out and speak so candidly about one of the biggest
clown acts ever to hit TV. People behind the scenes know Becks just a character he created but the zero IQ general public thinks what he says are real facts. I still say we have one of the stupidist countrys on the planet. I can't believe what comes out of peoples mouths everyday. Its like they never envolved mentally and still live in the dark ages.Hats off to you Mrs. McCain. I wish I could say the same about your flip flopping lying husband who only gets excited when he picks an idiot for Vice President or when he can start a war with another people and drag it out for as long as he needs to stay in the lime light. He turned out to be such a stupid man. I don't give a crap if he fought for this country or not. Hes done enough
bad things for this country to make up for anything good he might have accidently done...

No, ma'am, I don't know that Beck has offspring, nor if the offspring would admit being his... Homerun, Mrs. McCain!

Cindy Who? Question: If someone tweets to only 6000 followers and noone cares does anyone really hear the tweet? Answer: Yes, if CNN thinks it follows their agenda and announces it as news. Where were the tweets when Olbermann was canned and his "vitriol" with him?

Cindy, I wish you were this vocal in 2007. I agree with you on Beck; but how I wish you were this vocal on Palin. I kinda had the feeling you despised her~ her trashiness, her inarticulate stupidity, etc. I know you were probably in shock, but I wish you had spoken up. Do you have anything to say about Palin now? BYW~ love the hair!!!

Cindy you are acting like a 13 year old that's bad mouthing a former boyfriend. And you could have been our first lady? At least Michelle Obama has enough sense to keep her thoughts to herself. In the future think befor you speak.

Of course a McCain would say this because they are the biggest bunch of RINO"S out there. They walk the democrapic walk and talk the democrapic talk. Why in hell's name did the predominantly conservative state of Arizona ever vote for her husband after the way he acted under the rule of the democrapic congress I will never know. He is too close to death to be a conservative, he thinks all the crap that has been changed over and over again in the Bible is the truth, he doesn't remember how most humans lie and stretch the truth when they rewrite history to the point that it's a whole different history when we're done. He thinks Jesus hates conservatives because we don't give enough to the poor. When is enough, enough?
