Puerto Rico governor announces Obama visit

(CNN) - President Barack Obama has accepted an invitation to make an official visit to Puerto Rico, the U.S. commonwealth's governor said Tuesday.

"With his visit, President Obama fulfills his commitment he made during the presidential primaries of 2008, to return to Puerto Rico as president," Puerto Rico Gov. Luis Fortuno said in a statement.
