Palin rolls out 'vision of the future' in video

(CNN)-What begins with the howl of a grizzly bear and ends with a promise that "our best days are yet to come?"

The promotional video that caps off a roll-out announcement for former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's bus tour.

The video, produced by the same duo behind Palin's 2010 "Mama Grizzlies" spot and released Friday, follows Palin's Thursday reveal of her "One Nation" bus tour. The tour begins Memorial Day in Washington, D.C. and travels "up through New England," according to the SarahPAC website.

"We have a vision for the future of our country," the self-proclaimed "mama grizzly" declares in a voiceover narrating scenes of towns and citizens across America.

She singles out Republican founding fathers Washington and Lincoln, as well as her oft-quoted GOP icon Ronald Reagan as figures who have passed down the "enduring truths" of freedom and the Constitution "to you."

The potential presidential contender stirred up speculation about whether she would seek the GOP nomination in 2012 with the "One Nation" tour announcement and news that a pro-Palin feature film would debut in the first-in-the-nation caucus state of Iowa.

And though exact cities on the tour have yet to be disclosed, a Palin source told CNN that stops will be historic sites along the East Coast "that were key to the formation, survival and growth of the United States of America," including the Civil War battlefields at Gettysburg and Antietam, Philadelphia - to visit the Liberty Bell - and a visit to the first-in-the-nation-primary state of New Hampshire.

Perhaps hinting at her future plans, Palin assures, "We know our best days are yet to come."

Listen to the Political Notebook as Candy Crowley, anchor of CNN's State of the Union, and Bob Costantini discuss Sarah Palin's bus tour and Tim Pawlenty's truth comments. Plus, Memorial Day weekend "Poli-Synch."

Please, let it be! If what she has shown us so far is any indication, a “Palin one Nation” would be the pits! Our best days might still come, but only if she stays out of it! It is already depressing enough to see and hear the nonsense this woman produces without her being “in the race”! Gosh, can’t CNN just stay away from this person?

George Wasington was not a republican. The republican party had not even been invented yet. Nice one CNN.

Does she really not realize what a total joke she is? She must be seriously delusional. I guess both of those statements are just totally obvious.

You do know that Lincoln wasn't a founding father, right? And that the Republican party wasn't founded until 1854, so George Washington wasn't a Republican.

No matter the sound and fury she might generate (or have generated for her) it's all sizzle and no beef.

Sarah's insistence on dictating to us, and not allowing 2-way conversation clearly identifies her as a propagandist.

If you waste the time focusing in on the person, you find that there's nothing there, except a mean-spirited, narcissistic media-ho. Uneducated, ignorant, arrogant, dangerous. No longer funny.

I am guessing if Palen was president who she would appoint to different positions would be personally hand picked from the USA most popular reality shows.

"The howl of a grizzly bear"? I am here to tell you that bears do not howl.....pathetic.

One the other hand, the Palin-Momma Grizzly comparison is apt.
Both attack at the slightest provocation with a force completely out of proportion to the threat.

I hope Sarah Palin CAN start out like a Grizzly Bear and CONTINUE througout her entire campaign maintaining or exceeding the Grizzly implication. A Grizzly is a fierce fighter that fights strongest when shots are fired at them. If this is how Sarah will be instead of wimping like a wounded Sheep then she will have a great chance to not only win the GOP nomination but the Presidency as well. To reach and win the Presidency she MUST surround herself with a staff that is also made up of Grizzlies. Her staff must be more knowlegeable than anyone the Dem's can come up with. The voters don't want to simply hear rhetoric but to see action being put in place for the win along with sticking to promises to make America Strong and Proud once more. I personally would rather pay a few cents more for items Made In the USA than see that Made In China stamp on just about everything we purchase. I hope Sarah Palin will read this but that may be too much to ask.

George Washington a Republican? The party wasn't founded until 1854. There were no parties when Washington and hoped none would form as he feared they would undermine republicanism. Small r.

This woman is too petty, vindictive and secretive to withstand the kind of scrutiny and questions that will be asked during a Presidential campaign. She also doesn't like being held accountable for her own actions, much as she throws that word around a lot. Maybe she just refuses to believe the polls, like she refuses to believe other truths that conflict with her self-created reality. If she's really smart enough to be President, she's smart enough to realize she doesn't even have much support among Republicans. I'm guessing her real motivation is money. If she really believed in serving 'the people', she would have finished her term in Alaska. Instead, she opted to quit midterm to make a lot of money. Nothing wrong with that. This is America, after all, where Money is All. But it directly contradicts her political message. Little details like that seem to elude her grasp.

Caribou Barbie can only relate to grizzly bears and that speaks to her qualification to be POTUS? She is delusional and pathetic and has absolutely nothing in the way of experience or intelligence for the highest office in the US. The "fire" in her belly is making a promise that her brain can never cash. If the GOP actually is lame enough to make her the candidate against Obama, what a blast of shame she will experience by maybe a 20% vote. Her ego is overshadowing the importance of her own family...how sad.

If the election isn't already a win for Democrats now, it sure will be if Palin puts her name in the hat. I'm not going to even bother pointing out her obvious and infinite failings because that's like saying a tree is made out of wood. Everybody knows that already.

  25. Anthony... proud tax payer

"enduring truths" of freedom and the Constitution "to you." WTH does this mean? Seriously?
People are out of work, losing homes, all the while the government gives foreign countries billions, oil companies reap obscene profits, and the rich get huge tax breaks. Just curious how Palin's mission statement has ANYTHING to do with the current issues facing America.

Obama is gonna wipe the mat with her if she somehow manages to survive her own party's throttling.
