Palin rolls out 'vision of the future' in video

(CNN)-What begins with the howl of a grizzly bear and ends with a promise that "our best days are yet to come?"

The promotional video that caps off a roll-out announcement for former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's bus tour.

The video, produced by the same duo behind Palin's 2010 "Mama Grizzlies" spot and released Friday, follows Palin's Thursday reveal of her "One Nation" bus tour. The tour begins Memorial Day in Washington, D.C. and travels "up through New England," according to the SarahPAC website.

"We have a vision for the future of our country," the self-proclaimed "mama grizzly" declares in a voiceover narrating scenes of towns and citizens across America.

She singles out Republican founding fathers Washington and Lincoln, as well as her oft-quoted GOP icon Ronald Reagan as figures who have passed down the "enduring truths" of freedom and the Constitution "to you."

The potential presidential contender stirred up speculation about whether she would seek the GOP nomination in 2012 with the "One Nation" tour announcement and news that a pro-Palin feature film would debut in the first-in-the-nation caucus state of Iowa.

And though exact cities on the tour have yet to be disclosed, a Palin source told CNN that stops will be historic sites along the East Coast "that were key to the formation, survival and growth of the United States of America," including the Civil War battlefields at Gettysburg and Antietam, Philadelphia - to visit the Liberty Bell - and a visit to the first-in-the-nation-primary state of New Hampshire.

Perhaps hinting at her future plans, Palin assures, "We know our best days are yet to come."

Listen to the Political Notebook as Candy Crowley, anchor of CNN's State of the Union, and Bob Costantini discuss Sarah Palin's bus tour and Tim Pawlenty's truth comments. Plus, Memorial Day weekend "Poli-Synch."

"Republican founding fathers Washington and Lincoln..."?

Both outstanding leaders of our nation, but Washington was not a Republican, and Lincoln was not a founding father.

Sarah Palin's lack of credibility does not stem from some dislike for feminists or female politicians in mainstream society, it stems from the American people's ability to discern that she does not have the demeanor for politics and is inadequately educated to be the banker in a game of Monopoly let alone be trusted with an office of supreme executive power.
The evidence for this lies in the fact that she constantly appeals to a radical base of conservative thinkers rather then actually making talking points that have originality or a basis in reality. Radical conservatives like Palin will ironically become victims of their own words. She makes it to apparent everyone that she can be flustered, can be upset easily, and a president must be unshakable.

Have you ever been near a grizzly or brown bear? I have. They STINK to high heaven. Sarah Palin's self-comparison of herself to a grizzly is very appropriate!

The best thing this imbecile could do for THIS country is to go to some foreign land if they would have her, raise her own children, and shut the hell up forever!!! That would be the biggest gift she could ever give the United States!!

Sarah Palin is a bit like a Broadway set. All show, but what you see is all there is, no substance. Very one dimensional. She is whatever the crowd du jour wants her to be.

Let’s see how many hateful, vile, disgusting and outright ignorant people post against Sarah because she has a vision to make America what our founding fathers envisioned it to be.

I just love a good comedy!! If Sarah throws her Nanook Hat into the ring, the pundits and late night comics will have a field day. It is very sad that her reality is so off base from the way the majority of this country view her. Sad for her but most importantly, so sad for her family, the innocent bystanders.

If in doubd just mention the words constitution and Reagan. Meaningless drivel. I have never, ever, heard any specific proposals from Palin, ever. Leave aside the usual intelligence and motivation questions. Sarah, what's your plan?
