Palin rolls out 'vision of the future' in video

(CNN)-What begins with the howl of a grizzly bear and ends with a promise that "our best days are yet to come?"

The promotional video that caps off a roll-out announcement for former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's bus tour.

The video, produced by the same duo behind Palin's 2010 "Mama Grizzlies" spot and released Friday, follows Palin's Thursday reveal of her "One Nation" bus tour. The tour begins Memorial Day in Washington, D.C. and travels "up through New England," according to the SarahPAC website.

"We have a vision for the future of our country," the self-proclaimed "mama grizzly" declares in a voiceover narrating scenes of towns and citizens across America.

She singles out Republican founding fathers Washington and Lincoln, as well as her oft-quoted GOP icon Ronald Reagan as figures who have passed down the "enduring truths" of freedom and the Constitution "to you."

The potential presidential contender stirred up speculation about whether she would seek the GOP nomination in 2012 with the "One Nation" tour announcement and news that a pro-Palin feature film would debut in the first-in-the-nation caucus state of Iowa.

And though exact cities on the tour have yet to be disclosed, a Palin source told CNN that stops will be historic sites along the East Coast "that were key to the formation, survival and growth of the United States of America," including the Civil War battlefields at Gettysburg and Antietam, Philadelphia - to visit the Liberty Bell - and a visit to the first-in-the-nation-primary state of New Hampshire.

Perhaps hinting at her future plans, Palin assures, "We know our best days are yet to come."

Listen to the Political Notebook as Candy Crowley, anchor of CNN's State of the Union, and Bob Costantini discuss Sarah Palin's bus tour and Tim Pawlenty's truth comments. Plus, Memorial Day weekend "Poli-Synch."

Wouldn't it be wonderful if this dolt actually ran against Obama? I would love to see the vapid, community college Palin in a debate with Harvard University Obama. It would be like watching The Situation debate Einstein.

I'd vote for the grizzly bear before I'd cast a vote for this moron. She has absolutely no vision, ideas, or a constructive thought in that head of hers. She is just a narcissistic, attention-seeking, money making machine. I am PRAYING that she (and her twin puppet) Bachmann run for President. Now that's gonna be fun. Watch the Repubs implode.

  3. The best news I've heard in years!

Romney, Pawlenty and Gingrich must be having fits right now. Crazy Sarah is on the move. Pretty soon Crazy Michelle will be too. So much comedy, so little time. How does the first three "serious" candidates get their message out when the goofballs like Palin, Bachmann and Santorum are running around spouting nonsense and taking up the news cycle. I bet Trump will return with his pearls of wisdom too. I just cannot wait for the republican debates. They will be so entertaining.

"The best days are yet to come..." Yes, the days when we stop seeing this woman in the media.

Please run Sarah. I hope you win the republican nomination. I will love every minute of it. How short are people's memories. America will cry "Uncle" after year another year of Palin's madness. Maybe then this nation will wake up out of its idealistic stupor.

CNN's utter facisnation with Palin continues and it is a good thing. It gives all of the democrat librals who blindly follow CNN a chance to show how racially and sexually predjudice they are as well as how absolutely uneducated and uninformed they are (they have already demonstrated that by stealing election for the corrupt, inept Kenyan village idiot). Dream on corrupt and slimy union hacks.

Happy days are here again! The emergence of Palin into the 2012 GOP lineup virtually insures Obama's re-election! Our best days are yet to come!

Palin is the Queen of Platitudes. She'll always be known as a 1st class Quitter – couldn't even finish her last year as governor. It's probably best for Alaska that she did because she left the state with a huge debt and had no clue how to deal with it. Her brief time as Mayor of Wasilla resulted in a $20 million debt. She's uneducated and uninformed. I seriously don't understand the following that she has. I guess it's the people who think she's cute but never look for substance.

Her "vision" is myopic and a nightmare for most Americans.

Yeah she has a vision for our country, but I don't think it includes many of us. Just her and a few selected ...supporters?!?

Sarah just bought a home in Arizona for $1.7M. This is her way of trying to get back money in her PAC for she and her family. She just cannot stand being out of the scene.
She is NOT running for President of the US because she is stilll hired by FOX. Her bus tour is about money, money and more money and the American people is buying her silliness.

She should contend on Celebrity Apprentice. More appropriate than a White House bid for her...

This woman is a flim-flam artist. I can't believe she's stealing the veterans "thunder" this Memorial Day. I'm a veteran and a Harley rider and I want everyone to know she doesn't represent all of us.

Somebody ask her, what did she learn about Washington and Lincoln ideology in her school. Oh wait, that might be a 'gotcha' question by the mainstream media.

Feel the fanfare!! It's epic!! A real show of American force of will. And when the vinyl record makes the "sraaatch" sound, you still have the same hero, exposed by Katie Couric, reads notes from her hands, talks about America being involved in "squirmishes", puts crosshairs on her "enemies", blames the media for her shortcomings, feeds red meat to her angry masses, charges over 100K for appearances with all other contract perks and whadya got? Sarah Palin. Some kinda "bear lady" or somethin'. The movie...will be just another distraction. Save yourself some spin and read Baily's book.

If she could actually give a convincing speech, or learned how to speak coherently she'd be very, very dangerous. For now, she's just a joke.

Washington and Lincoln must be spinning in their graves at the thought of this imbecile referring to them. How can we have such an person in the political arena with a degree of viability? Any doubts to our irrational nature has been erased.

Just what CNN needs is another place for liberals to post their messages of hate. It seems to be all they know lately.

Why do you continue to give valuable space to this bimbo. There a far more important things you could report on, issues of major interest to this country, such as and update on Lindsey Lohan.

Knows this lady is like a drug for political journalists, but please....DO OUR NATION A SERVICE AND STOP COVERING THIS LADY! She is purely self-serving and sees to benefit no one but her own personal needs! Her actions since stepping down as governor continues to solidify that image.
