Palin rolls out 'vision of the future' in video

(CNN)-What begins with the howl of a grizzly bear and ends with a promise that "our best days are yet to come?"

The promotional video that caps off a roll-out announcement for former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's bus tour.

The video, produced by the same duo behind Palin's 2010 "Mama Grizzlies" spot and released Friday, follows Palin's Thursday reveal of her "One Nation" bus tour. The tour begins Memorial Day in Washington, D.C. and travels "up through New England," according to the SarahPAC website.

"We have a vision for the future of our country," the self-proclaimed "mama grizzly" declares in a voiceover narrating scenes of towns and citizens across America.

She singles out Republican founding fathers Washington and Lincoln, as well as her oft-quoted GOP icon Ronald Reagan as figures who have passed down the "enduring truths" of freedom and the Constitution "to you."

The potential presidential contender stirred up speculation about whether she would seek the GOP nomination in 2012 with the "One Nation" tour announcement and news that a pro-Palin feature film would debut in the first-in-the-nation caucus state of Iowa.

And though exact cities on the tour have yet to be disclosed, a Palin source told CNN that stops will be historic sites along the East Coast "that were key to the formation, survival and growth of the United States of America," including the Civil War battlefields at Gettysburg and Antietam, Philadelphia - to visit the Liberty Bell - and a visit to the first-in-the-nation-primary state of New Hampshire.

Perhaps hinting at her future plans, Palin assures, "We know our best days are yet to come."

Listen to the Political Notebook as Candy Crowley, anchor of CNN's State of the Union, and Bob Costantini discuss Sarah Palin's bus tour and Tim Pawlenty's truth comments. Plus, Memorial Day weekend "Poli-Synch."

What a load of crap. This intellectually challenged woman deserted her position as governor to make money, then re-invents hersedlf as a "patriot". She is the worst that America has to offer and is disgusting to anyone with even one iota of inteliligence

This is so over the top that it's kind of creepy. The only thing she has ever done is self promotion. Any "work" she has dabbled in she just quits when the going gets tough or she gets bored. What a loser.

Here are three "enduring truths" for Sarah to reconcile in regards to Reagan...
    1. He supported the Brady Bill (gun control)..... If not for his support, it never would have been passed by congress.
    2. He RAISED taxes... both as president and as governor fo California.
    3. He GRANTED AMNESTY to illegal aliens....

Funny, he doesn't seem like someone the TEA PARTY crowd would be behind if he were still alive and in politics....

She is correct. This country's best day is ahead if she stays out of our national politics. I certainly hope that people are smart enough to see that her brand of divisive politics is not good for this country.

That fool wants to start a war – she barges in on the Rolling Thunder (veteran respecting group) and will steal all their glory if she can - it will get her more $$ at her next secret meeting. She was not invited, and they don't want her speaking. But she barges in anyway. What a twit. And to thing our education has failed us to the point that so many think she is smart. Lord Help Us All. And please make her mute. That screech is unbearable.

Vision of the Future is where can see Russia from your house and learn that you know nothing about the world. The only thing comes out of Palin is the destruction of a country. What a shame that she is in the spot, ever!!! very very shame.

She is allergic to people that can ask her questions so she tweets, makes expensive videos and movies to express herself and make sure she is not expected to answer a question from a live person. She is so far removed from reality it is no wonder Alaskans cant stand her. Most people that care about others and their country actually talk to people and answer questions, they dont hide behind twitter and cameras where her entire persona is scripted and is a complete fraud.

George Washington was not a Republican and he was not a Democrat. If anything he was a Federalist, but he in fact believed the development of political parties was not good for the country.

Our better days are still to come, eh? I get the feeling that if you are an immigrant, muslim, working class, or GLBT, or you don't fit into that particular vision of the future. Nothing SP has ever said or done indicates she plans to govern or treat all American citizens with fairness, and the liberty we all deserve.

well I guess CNN is back to "ALL SARAH ALL THE TIME" again since the love affair with Trump is over. One thing about these Sarah Palin stories that all ways seem to "turn heads" or "raise eyebrows" it brings out the Palin haters and Palin lovers and I don't know which lines here are better. Funny all of them really. For a person that claims they hate the mainstream media, Palin gets more coverage here at CNN I bet than at her employer FoxNews. U Betcha!
