Palin rolls out 'vision of the future' in video

(CNN)-What begins with the howl of a grizzly bear and ends with a promise that "our best days are yet to come?"

The promotional video that caps off a roll-out announcement for former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's bus tour.

The video, produced by the same duo behind Palin's 2010 "Mama Grizzlies" spot and released Friday, follows Palin's Thursday reveal of her "One Nation" bus tour. The tour begins Memorial Day in Washington, D.C. and travels "up through New England," according to the SarahPAC website.

"We have a vision for the future of our country," the self-proclaimed "mama grizzly" declares in a voiceover narrating scenes of towns and citizens across America.

She singles out Republican founding fathers Washington and Lincoln, as well as her oft-quoted GOP icon Ronald Reagan as figures who have passed down the "enduring truths" of freedom and the Constitution "to you."

The potential presidential contender stirred up speculation about whether she would seek the GOP nomination in 2012 with the "One Nation" tour announcement and news that a pro-Palin feature film would debut in the first-in-the-nation caucus state of Iowa.

And though exact cities on the tour have yet to be disclosed, a Palin source told CNN that stops will be historic sites along the East Coast "that were key to the formation, survival and growth of the United States of America," including the Civil War battlefields at Gettysburg and Antietam, Philadelphia - to visit the Liberty Bell - and a visit to the first-in-the-nation-primary state of New Hampshire.

Perhaps hinting at her future plans, Palin assures, "We know our best days are yet to come."

Listen to the Political Notebook as Candy Crowley, anchor of CNN's State of the Union, and Bob Costantini discuss Sarah Palin's bus tour and Tim Pawlenty's truth comments. Plus, Memorial Day weekend "Poli-Synch."

As a Democrat, my political Christmas list would be pretty much satisfied if Palin were to run AND get the Republican nomination. Apart from being great comedy fodder, she couldnt find "the middle" if she was given a map, two flashlights and a compass. She would virtually assure Obama gets reelected and would probably be instrumental in any success the Dems have of regaining control of the House. Someone should start a "Democrats for Palin" website so that we can help her stay in the Presidential race.

I find it amusing that the Republicans of today are quick to utilize Lincoln when stating their views when it's apparent Lincoln's Republican party is nothing like today's party. Lincoln was more liberal by today's standards, not conservative.

Why are people interested in this intellectual light-weight? Is there anything to her beyond "you betcha" and "gotcha:? Whatever happened to respect for intellect, knowledge, etc?

The democrats are trying to spread the FALSE impression that no one can beat Obama ... but, even though the biased mainstream media isn't reporting it, the majority of Americans are sick and tired of empty suit Obama's failing policies, and economic disasters ... Palin can beat Obama in 2012 ... that's why the liberals are tripping over themselves to demonize her ... and, when she beats Obama, the liberals will be crying like babies ... America will be restored to her former greatness ... and those of us who truly love America, will have the last laugh !!!

Anyone who gets their info and beliefs from movies like this, or even anything done by Michael Moore, is an idiot.

Get off your fat asses and do your own research and form your own conclusions. Don't depend on research done by others because they are invariably untrustworthy.

You do realize that Lincoln was not a "founding" father. Great prez, but about four-score and seven years late to be a founder.

So now we are "one nation", not "real America" and "not so real America? " like during the 2008 campaign.

Palin is a joke and she is NOT running for President. FOX would have fired her if she were even exploring a run – just like they did Gingrich, Santorum even before they announced. There are serious legal issues for any network who pays a potential candidate a salary. This "tour" is nothing but a money-making scam for Palin to pull in the last chance money for herself before the real Republican field is set. The money from her tour will go into her personal pocket to support her lifestyle. You never start a Presidential run in Washington DC and also ignore the states of Iowa and SC.
Palin is a fraud and a lunatic. She is showing up in Washington on the weekend when veterans hold an annual ride to DC to the Vietnam Memorial to honor those who died in that war. They are extremely angry Palin is trying to use their event for her benefit and have made it clear she is NOT welcome to be there.
Palin's ego is far larger than her fan base or her IQ. If the media would quit covering this lunatic quitter.

Pollster.com currently has ex-Governor Palin's favorability rating as 59.9 unfavorable, 31.4 favorable. That's nearly a 30 point net unfavorability rating. She is more toxic than radioactive waste.

Please run Sarah... I'd like to spend as little time focusing on the election as possible and you virtually guarantee a second term for Obama.

One Nation? Hmm, tell that to the Alaska Natives whom she refused to help when she was governor. Go ahead, goggle her about it, I dare you and oh by the way, she has a little bit of Native in her-her husband is Native and they, well, we know what married people do, right?

Washington wasn't a Republican, and Lincoln, though technically a Republican in his time, had party value that vastly differ from the modern Republican part. In fact, the Republicans of Lincoln's era most closely resemble today's Democrats in ideology and economic policy. Next time do your research, Sarah Failin and CNN!

When you listen to Sarah Palin, you walk away with NOTHING!!! She babbles so much and it's never comprehensible or memorable. I could not imagine her being the Commander in Chief and leaving behind legacies, famous speeches and/or accomplishments. You have to have those traits for people to imagine you being at the top and she does not have it at all!!

She will NEVER be President and she has NO INTENTIONS of running for the position – It’s “All About the Benjamins” with her…………..PERIOD!!
