Palin rolls into Washington on a motorcycle, with a message

Washington (CNN) – Sarah Palin rode into Washington, D.C. on the back of a motorcycle Sunday, kicking off what is expected to be a week of stops to educate America about its founding principles.

She delivered her message on the National Mall as part of the "Rolling Thunder" rally in honor of Memorial Day. "Rolling Thunder" is a non-profit organization dedicated to the search for American military personnel who are prisoners of war or missing in action.

The former Alaska governor and potential 2012 presidential candidate thanked "Rolling Thunder" for making sure Americans "don't forget it's our vets whom we owe a debt of gratitude."

"I'm an American. I have no title. I have no office," Palin told CNN's Sandra Endo. "To be an American citizen with the freedom to come out here and assemble to thank you veterans, I can't tell you how honored I am to be invited to participate."

After driving on a motorcycle and walking on the Mall with her husband Todd and daughters Bristol and Piper, Palin met with veterans and families associated with the "Rolling Thunder" organization.

She "barged in" where there were a lot of supporters for the bikers, and I'm sure she will LIE and say they came to seee her.

She makes me sick in my stomach.

And all you haters that think that is fear - you don't know squat.

All this woman has are empty platitudes, stagecrafted photo ops and fake interviews such as the rehearsed exchanges with Fox`s Sean Hannity.

As far as these "bus tours" are concerned, I`l bet she doesn`t even ride the bus around the country. She hopes on Gulfstream jets to get where she wants to go and then has the bus meet her at the airfield or the hotel wher she gets onboard.

She wants to play up the image of someone with the wind in her hair that is "in-touch" and experiences a rural/ wilderness lifestyle.

It`s Madison avenue branding to help her exploit her flock and tke more cash from them.

Well now I can sleep better ....sarah can ride on a motorcycle! she is as phony as a three dollar bill......when she can answer real questions..have solutions not rhetoric, not sarcasm, not oh woe is me, not the victim card...not saying any outrageous thing that comes to her mind and if she actually announces she is running maybe then she will be worthy of the media following her every word like a bunch of puppy dogs.....otherwise she is just a private citizen .....all the declared runners would like to get the free air time she gets...and u got to know she will await making her "announcement" to the last second possible geting all the free air time she needs and the ability to mstill use fox news as a campaign office......otherwise she would have to step down from that post....but whatever....media she has played u for so long u do not even know it anymore...the victim, the long suffering sarah is playing a game and has sucked u all in.....

IF they allow her to speak her vile hatred at this gathering, I'll pull all of my support for them away.

She is only in it for the money, and if they're fooled by her, they're too foolish to manage my donations.

Real women ride their own bike! Clearly, Sarah Palin realizes the only way she's going to get anywhere is to ride on the coat tails of smarter, better qualified people.

Sarah Palin's participation in "rolling thunder" is another in a series of political moves that Ms. Palin makes to get people to support her. I have always respected the Rolling Thunmder for their unwavering support for veterans of the War in VietNam and their compassion for those who were killed. We have met many of them returning home after Memorial Day. They represented all of us even those who did not support the soldiers or who did not appreciate their efforts on our behalf. I am sorry that they have succumbed to politics even as they encourage all of us to remember those who served and were injured or died for their country..

If there's a gathering of 500,000 people she'll try to take credit and ham it up. Sorry vets for the "cheap distraction". Can you imagine her as president and when she had a whim, she would quit. It's loser=quitter. She didn't care anything for Alaska's people and why woud she care about the rest of us. WHAT A JOKE.
