(CNN) – Add Trump Tower to the list of historical sites that Sarah Palin plans to visit during her “One Nation” bus tour.
Palin has scheduled a private meeting with none other than Donald Trump on Tuesday evening at the real estate magnate’s sprawling Trump Tower residence in Manhattan.
It’s something of an unusual detour for the bus, which has kept to a strict itinerary of historic sites like Mount Vernon and Independence Hall since it began its tour on Monday.
The tour, according to Palin’s website, is designed “to educate and energize Americans about our nation's founding principles, in order to promote the Fundamental Restoration of America.”
Palin and Trump have at least a few things in common, notably their starring roles in hit reality television shows and a knack for keeping the political world guessing about their presidential ambitions.
Trump recently decided not to pull the trigger on a bid for the Republican nomination, while Palin continues to say that she is seriously considering a run.
Palin was also quoted recently saying that she appreciated Trump’s high-profile effort to obtain President Barack Obama’s long-form birth certificate, though she has said repeatedly that she believes the president is a citizen of the United States.

What is amazing is not how Palin behaves but how popular she is among the short bus right (really really hitting up the elder statesman kook Trump for advice?). Oh well Palin 2012! Its the only sure way Obama gets reelected I guess.

Enough is Enough! I am so sick of Sarah Palin I could scream. She is playing CNN, our great country and our people (not the intelligent ones) for fools. And this "meeting" with Donald Trump, who cares? He played his country for a fool as well. I love CNN, but am watching it less and less until this subsides.

Palin – a powerful force in the GOP no matter how incompetent and divisive she is. I think the majority of us responding to this article know the reason why. Anybody who's willing to come out and denounce Obama with the vitriol and hatred she has used is speaking the language of the bigots in this country. Her followers don't care if she's not so smart. They could care less. She speaks their language; she says what they feel and want to hear. If anyone thinks the hate is because of Obama's policies, think again. It's so much more than that. Palin doesn't want to be President of the United States, but she does want to control whatever person gets the GOP nomination – and she will. Palin will choose the VP to run with the GOP nominee. If that person doesn't do what she wants, she will take her support away from that person. So whoever gets the GOP nomination for President will be answering to Sara Palin. Palin will go and have a couple more books written for her, go on more book tours and speaking engagements and make even more millions. That's power for you folks. Gotta hand it to this woman who has the GOP wrapped around her lily white fingers. Look how the "lame stream media" is chasing her all over the northeast! They're not chasing the other candidates. You don't have to be smart or have any class to make millions. Palin has proven that. Now having said all of this, I still can't stand her and I believe in the long run that Palin is a very dangerous person to America – probably more so than any terrorist could be. Palin is a terror onto herself.
She runs for President and the Donald will be her VP. Wait she runs, wins general election, Mccain is the VP. She quits and McCain is the President, now she has paid him back for making him lose in 08. The Donald and Palin in the same room, how will they find one big enough to hold both their ego's at the same time.
