(CNN) - Donald Trump weighed in on "Weinergate" Wednesday, saying New York Rep. Anthony Weiner is either “incompetent” or “lying.”
“He obviously knows it’s him and the way he’s handled it is either lying or incompetent,” Trump said on CNN’s “Piers Morgan Tonight.” “It was him because otherwise he would have said it wasn’t me … who would not know if that rather terrible position was or wasn’t taken?”
“Photographs can be manipulated. Photographs can be taken up from one place and put in another place. Photos can be doctored,” Weiner told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer Wednesday. “It certainly doesn’t look familiar to me, but I don’t want to say with certitude to you something that I don’t now to be the certain truth.”
Trump, a public relations mastermind, said Weiner has handled the situation “horribly.”
“I think he’s made what could have been a small story into a very, very big story,” Trump said.
The real estate mogul made his own news this week when he met and ate pizza with potential 2012 presidential candidate Sarah Palin Tuesday in New York.
After the meeting Trump, who previously decided against a bid for the White House, said he would like Palin to run for president. But he told Morgan the former Alaska governor has not made up her mind.
“I think in her own mind, she’s just not sure yet,” Trump said. “But she’s certainly got a following. And people like her. And I like her.”

One little known fact about this 'tweet' is the fact that it was sent while the Congressman was conducting a live television interview. It appears that such a thing is surprisingly easy to forge. And, you must question the veracity of the incident when it was "discovered" by an individual with a history of elecronic hanky-panky.

And Donald Trump is honest? And Donald Trump kept his weiner in his pants? Most sensible people, if they were the Donald, would never open their mouths about the integrity or morality of others. The Donald admitted to screwing Gaddafhi. Could he define the word "screw" for us? Either he behaved without integrity or without morality. I'd like to see the long handwritten version of the certificate on that one. Trump, you're fired, but then you'd never get hired!
I thought in order to call a person a liar you had to have proof of it. Kind of like Trump had proof the birth certificate wasn't there.
I am so tired of listening to Trump's opinions being reported as news. If I wanted to hear what he had to say I would watch his TV show.Please, media, stop covering this joke of a man. His wife has to listen to him at the dinner table, we don't.
It takes one to know one. Trump lied about going to run for president, that President Obama's birth certificate was missing, that his "investigator" had found lots of interesting information, that he would present his financial statements if President Obama showed the long form and about his great business record (he's gone bankrupt several times). Well President Obama called his bluff big time so now Trump needs to keep his word and show the financial records or else he was lying.
Maybe Weiner is just playing Rope-a-Dope; like Obama did to Trump on the birth certificate. Why does the media continue to report the opinions of this reality TV actor?
I have to go with what Donald Trumps is speculating. The more Anthony Weiner talks about the twitter picture the deeper his is digging himself into a hole. When all is said and done Rep. Anthony Weiner will resign from congress in disgrace. What he should have done was not say anything and find out on his own who the picture came about. Second he should have never created a "twitter account". Good Senators, and Congressment/women never draw attention to themselves because they know how the press will make a mountain out of a mole hill. The Democratic Committee is going to have a close door meeting with Anthony Weiner and they are going to give him a choice "either get rid of all the attention or resign one or the other" it will probably be "resign".

The question of who is represented in the picture is irrelevant. The real question is who sent the picture. The Congressman's Facebook account was hacked two weeks ago requiring a password change. The picture also appears to have been created by a device that Rep. Weiner does not own. And, we still have the mystery of how it was so conveniently and quickly discovered by Breitbart.
