(CNN) - Donald Trump weighed in on "Weinergate" Wednesday, saying New York Rep. Anthony Weiner is either “incompetent” or “lying.”
“He obviously knows it’s him and the way he’s handled it is either lying or incompetent,” Trump said on CNN’s “Piers Morgan Tonight.” “It was him because otherwise he would have said it wasn’t me … who would not know if that rather terrible position was or wasn’t taken?”
“Photographs can be manipulated. Photographs can be taken up from one place and put in another place. Photos can be doctored,” Weiner told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer Wednesday. “It certainly doesn’t look familiar to me, but I don’t want to say with certitude to you something that I don’t now to be the certain truth.”
Trump, a public relations mastermind, said Weiner has handled the situation “horribly.”
“I think he’s made what could have been a small story into a very, very big story,” Trump said.
The real estate mogul made his own news this week when he met and ate pizza with potential 2012 presidential candidate Sarah Palin Tuesday in New York.
After the meeting Trump, who previously decided against a bid for the White House, said he would like Palin to run for president. But he told Morgan the former Alaska governor has not made up her mind.
“I think in her own mind, she’s just not sure yet,” Trump said. “But she’s certainly got a following. And people like her. And I like her.”

Trump is a joke. He made a total fool of himself when he was pretending to run for President - and Obama's smackdown of him is legendary - and he continues to make a fool of himself. Maybe Weiner took a "sexy" picture for his WIFE, then his account was hacked and the picture was sent to another person. That seems pretty plausible to me and he wouldn't be lying or incompetent. Right-wingers are filled with LIES LIES LIES so they don't understand that not everybody is LYING all the time. It's how they see the world.

I do not expect him to resign or even be asked to since the democrats are not the party that has laid claim to the moral high ground, and something the GOP fails to live up to regularly. If you exhalt your superior piousness day after day after day then get busted having an affair with an aide and poaying out hish money, having inapproporate conduct with a page and trollign their dorms, cruising airports for same s3x hook-ups, regularly getting diapered by a hooker, getting a hummer in the parking lot fromsomeone other than your wife, send shirtless picks to somene other than your wife (and I could go on and on) then you are a hypocrite. If it is true that he he was doing a live intereview on camera when this tweet was sent then he didn't send it, but if he did to it this is between Wiener and his wfie and no one else.
So what if it turns out to be picture of Weiner. He had it stored in a "cloud" somewhere because he may have sent it to his wife once upon a time. Who is represented in the picture is irrelevant to the actual matter at hand. The picture could have been a still taken from a porn video and the pertinent questions would be the same. Who sent the message.

On March 13, after Weiner sent her a private message, Lee wrote: "you know it's a good day when you wake up to a [direct message] from @RepWeiner."
By May, Lee posted that she had "Weinermania!" and uploaded a picture of the lawmaker - with a crayon heart framing his face - and the words: "You're the only Weiner I need."
"'Is it too early in the day for me to start doing Anthony Weiner love?" Lee mused on May 25.
Two days later - just as news that a crotch shot was sent from Weiner's Twitter account to a coed in Washington - Lee posted, "Whoa. I get a dose of Anthony Weiner live before I go to work tonight. Weiner before work, me likey."

It was obviously Breitbart and his crew of slime balls. Weiner has consulted a law firm in order to sue Breitbart and crew. He knows the picture is not of him and is saving the info for the lawsuit. BTW, almost all of the Congressmen and Senators have Facebook and Twitter accounts to communicate with their constituents directly, so nothing new there.
