Pelosi, Wasserman Schultz, Israel tell Weiner he should resign

New York (CNN) - Three weighty Democratic voices - including Nancy Pelosi - on Saturday called for the resignation of embattled U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner, who has been under fire after admitting to inappropriate communications with women online.

The House Minority Leader, and the chairmen of the Democratic National Committee and Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in separate statements called for Weiner to step down.

Weiner should resign immediately. There is too much important legislation to be considred facing this country, to be sidetracked by this incident. Where are the statesmen of today? The last one I recall was when Sen. Howard Baker walked into Nixon's office and told him that he should clean out his desk. Where is Sen. Chuckie (where's the camera) Schumer when he is needed. This is protectionism at it's worst. The sooner he's gone, the better for the country.

It apparently really does not matter what the Republicans allow in their ranks. The Democrats should try to show what the honorable thing is to do and remove Weiner now. He is a lier and a fraud and we certainly do not need that along with all of the other partisan nonsense going on as well.

Weiner should resign and take Rangel with him. These gruesome twosome, a tax cheat and a sex addict, don't belong in Congress. And, as the ultimate punishment, give them Obamacare for life. No more gold-plated, superior, tax payer provided health insurance which they now enjoy in Congress.

Anthony.....You hang tight my man. Did pelosi call for rangel, frank or clinton to resign? NO...she didn't! You are holding up the best of the true ideals of your sick, twisted and degenerate democratic party. YOU are the shining star of the liberal brand. Don't go weak knee now.

This is hilarious. Just this morning Pelosi was keen to "stand by her man;" now she changes her mind. Just proves the Democratic party can't stand firm on anything but wavering their actions and words. It's too late anyways; I think most people have witnessed how truly depraved these people are.

They'll have to pay him to resign. As with most Democrats, he makes his living stealing from the public till, so he has no useful job skills.

So it's taken the Democrat leadership two weeks to finally decide to do the right thing? Even the penis photo wasn't, at first, enough?

Weiner has an addiction alright and it's an addiction to power. If he had an ounce of dignity or respect he would resign from office NOW!!! He will always be remembered as a profound disappointment and embarrassment to the people of New York! Good riddance...
