Bachmann draws new attention after GOP debate

(CNN) – Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann's newly official presidential bid drew fresh eyes Tuesday after complimentary reviews of her performance in a face-off with her Republican rivals.

Several CNN analysts declared her one of the winners of the CNN-sponsored New Hampshire GOP debate Monday night, while House Speaker John Boehner said the third-term congresswoman "did a really good job last night."

Michelle Bachmann was very impressive with her ideas, passion and clarity of presentation last night. Based on her performance, I am glad to see her in the mix. Don't count her out yet. She's got some good stuff to say.

If Bachmann is the only candidate to gain attention then the GOP are in really BIG trouble. The woman has the IQ and mentality of a 5 year old. It is very sad to see such a person even think that she could attain the stature of being a President. Lord help the USA.

First of all why do people keep wanting to call this a debate when NOTHING was debated? All this really was was an "anti-Obama" bash fest by 7 Republicans that attacked a man, like him or not, that was not there to defend himself. And I give Mrs. Bachmann credit for being well versed and well spoken, but that doesn't excuse some of the lame to downright untrue things she has said about the president from the cost of his India trip to his stance on Isreal. Didn't she tell the folks in own district NOT to fill out the census forms? She has a long way to go to be the POTUS in my opinion.

It's so obvious that Michele decided to make her announcement last night at the debates just so she could give the appearance of being a big-time winner. That trick will not work on me, or on thousands of other Americans.

Besides, she's too polarizing to appeal to anybody other than the far-right loony bin. She has the same prospects of winning as a snowball does of surviving in hell.

Bachmann said in the debate that as president she would listen to the commander-in-chief. God help us if she becomes president.

If Michele Bachmann is the best they can do, the Republicans are in a world of hurt. If by some crazy twist of fate she should ever sit in the White House, this country might as well sit back and enjoy the ride on the crazy train as the whack jobs finish ruining our country.

If she can fix the economy in a quarter or two how about some ideas? What she is really saying is she would rather see the President fail which would mean more economic disaster for the country than to see America strong without extreme right wing leadership. Also, if it is so easy to fix in 3-6 months, doesn't she think someone would have figured it out by now. Perhaps, in her mind, God is speaking to her and only her.

This woman is more dangerous than the AK bimbo because we all know what a joke she is but this one has said enough things that are not being reported by the lame stream media.
Come cnn, there are plenty of quotes from this woman about abortion, gays, medicare, social security. Report on that!
