Weiner's wife returns as pressure mounts for his resignation

Washington (CNN) - The wife of Rep. Anthony Weiner returned home from a work trip Wednesday as her husband faced mounting pressure to resign over a "sexting" scandal that he lied about before admitting his involvement.

Weiner's wife, Huma Abedin, is a top aide to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and was traveling with her boss in the Middle East and Africa since June 8. Abedin, who is pregnant with the couple's first child, returned home from that trip on Wednesday morning, according to an administration official who spoke on condition of not being identified.

In the United States you can invade and occupy defenceless countries on false pretenses and then imprison and torture its citizens , and no one will bother you. However... if you try sending a few sexy messages from your Blackberry.....

If we can have a president getting a BJ in the white house, a Senator that was paying prostitutes, and I could really care less as long as they are or were doing their jobs, then we can have a sexter in the Congress. I'm sure he learned his lesson. The rest of them just haven't gotten caught yet. All you goody two shoes get off your high horses and soap boxes and get on with your lives. I'm sure a lot of you have done the same thing because I can see a lot of broken glass in your houses.

If weiner has to resign, let's make sure vitter/diaper man himself is ousted also. vitter's wife looked beaten (mentally). I would have taken the micirophone and smacked him on the head while he was "apolotizing" for being a REAL johnny on the spot pervert.
The rethugs continue to pick and choose their dumb battles and are making noise where the tree already fell and there's now silence. The weeper of the house can go cry on somebody else's shoulder as he looks for those jobs the rethugs promised the fools who voted for them in 2010.
