(CNN) - Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin sharply rebuffed a report in the American Spectator Friday that predicted she will decide within a week whether to run for president.
"Really? Hmm, guess they forgot to inform me what I'm "expected to do" next wk," Palin tweeted with a link to the story.
The conservative magazine reported that vendors of campaign services were told the former governor "will decide soon one way or another on mounting a 2012 campaign."
The 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee has stoked intense speculation over her presidential ambitions by increasing her public appearances of late. She recently wrapped up her five-day "One Nation" bus tour to significant American historical sights in the northeast and she is the subject of a favorable feature length documentary that will release nationwide this summer.

The only thing Palin is running is running from those debates. Palin uses the media to learn instead of books/studying because if you noticed everything she talks about is something the media has says and then she gives her rebuttal and finally ending with the media is so bias. It doesn't take a genius to figure Palin out because she comes with nothing new or intellectual, just something limited and stupid.

Well, here it is. We haven't had a Palin sighting in a little while, so let's just replay a story we've already read. She isn't running. It will be no surprise at all, to most, when she soon declares as such. This is just more stoking the fire, trying to keep this buzz alive, and she's trying to hold on to her quickly fading notoriety. I will miss the comedy she provides, but the established Republican candidates look like they will certainly hold their own in this capacity.

I QUIT reading CNN for a month because I am so sick of Palin stories. I'm back this week and STILL more non news. I REALLY don't care what this woman does. Let me repeat. I don't care what she does. Please quit giving us updates on this trash. Please.
She is making fools out of everyone who thinks she's serious. All she cares about is media attention and money, the only thing she is running for is idiot of the year!
Just keep it in the barn there missy.. keep it in the barn. You don't wanna go through what you will hear to run again.. you are still in "You Betcha" land and spouting proven false statements as true.. the dynamic changes just ahead of you and you will never outrun your own misguided ramblings.
Why do reporters even bother dealing with this nasty, inconsequential woman? She's not intelligent in the least and gets her panties in a wad over every little thing just to get the publicity she claims to hate so much.
She decided long ago. Be a "potential presidential candidate" for as long as possible...and cash in.
She'll pass in 2012, dangle 2016 in front of her supporters, and then take their money.

no surprise here... her modus operandi for 2.5 years had been stringing her followers along while milking McCain's senile moment for all its worth.
That said, I'd love to see her jumping in the race. Republican primaries would be so much more fun with her running, but it's not going to happen unfortunately. Unless... there is one scenario: she would declare her candidacy but refuse to participate in any debates/interviews with 'lame-stream' media, and run solely on her name recognition and celebrity. She could realistically win the nomination that way (and only that way). Run Sarah, run!

She has it too good now. Always in the lime light, making millions with books, appearances, and on Fox News without having to be accountable for anything.

She won't make an announcement soon because (with Todd not working) she needs to milk this attention for as long as she can, before saying she isn't going to run.
