Gingrich fundraisers quit

(CNN) - Top fundraisers for Republican Newt Gingrich's presidential campaign resigned Tuesday, the campaign confirmed to CNN.

Fundraising director Jody Thomas and fundraising consultant Mary Heitman left the team. The two defections follow 16 resignations earlier in the month when top aides stepped down over disagreements with the former House Speaker.

Gingrich press secretary RC Hammond said the campaign will continue.

"Newt 2012 continues its reorganization to achieve a grassroots driven substantive solutions orientated campaign," Hammond told CNN. "We wish the members of the finance team who decided to leave the best. The campaign continues forward as committed as ever."

Good. I am tired of this milque toast isle crossing weak Republican being in the headlines. We want strong Conservative values. Give us Ron Paul, Michelle Bachman on a ticket. Liberalism has proven to be a toxic festering wound on the Republic of America. The farther we get away from it, the healthier we will become as a whole nation.

Personally I think Gingrich saw the GOP field in front of him and figured that even he was a better choice than the majority of them. Problem is Newt conveniently forgot about his own past, public and private, but the voting constituency hasn't. This is the man that was "going to bring Bill Clinton down!" and have that "Contract With America" running wild. None of it worked out and he was sent packing to the backwoods of Georgia to contemplate his navel.......... He reminds me, eerily, of Richard Nixon who resigned in disgarcae and then re-emerged, tanned and ready to dispense advice to people. Arrogance, plain and simple, bold arrogance!!!!

Let me guess: Newt will say that he is staying in the face. Have to sell books, you know!

    Poor Newt: he's completely irrelevant.

Newt should have been more careful with whom he chose for his staff since many may have had an ax to grind and were loyal to other candidates. He obviously did not vet them to hire people loyal to him and his ideas. He is a great candidate but he is being set up by the fulltime political hacks who often can make or break a good candidate.

How many clues does Newt need? Generally I don't wish people ill will...but in his case, karma must be enjoyed. Now that his campaign is bearly alive and on life support...wouldn't be funny if his wife left him?

So, if all the staff for ALL the Republican candidates quit before their convention (I wish), could we just reappoint President Obama without having an election?

Good. Gingrich's campaign was a distraction. Now, Republicans can focus on a better and younger crop of talented candidates with a much better chance to defeat Mr Obama-despite CNN and MSNBC's best efforts to the contrary.

So, who's left him and his wife? Well, he will go down in history as the first two-man ran campaign. Sometimes you just have to know when it's time to throw in the towel, and it's time!

Gingrich has sinned against his wife and against humanity with his shameful adultery. His fundraisers are running in fear, for they know that our good God is about to smite this false prophet. Bachmann 2012

Well, now Newt you can go back to the jobs they had in the 1940's and 1950's. You can be a door to door saleman, selling your book, video, etc.

Your campaign staff quit because you want them to hawk you wears, and now you want your fundraiser
    to hawk you wears.

You and Misses Newt are so funny. I bet you that calista is the President of you house. Maybe you should dump Calista and find another puppet.

Oh wait Calista isn't sick, and she isn't in the hospital have surgery for breast cancer and so you can't ask for a divorce. Hahah

Newt, there is an old saying that goes like this, and it best describe you campaign. Well, here is the statement
    "IT IS TO LAUGH".
