Gingrich fundraisers quit

(CNN) - Top fundraisers for Republican Newt Gingrich's presidential campaign resigned Tuesday, the campaign confirmed to CNN.

Fundraising director Jody Thomas and fundraising consultant Mary Heitman left the team. The two defections follow 16 resignations earlier in the month when top aides stepped down over disagreements with the former House Speaker.

Gingrich press secretary RC Hammond said the campaign will continue.

"Newt 2012 continues its reorganization to achieve a grassroots driven substantive solutions orientated campaign," Hammond told CNN. "We wish the members of the finance team who decided to leave the best. The campaign continues forward as committed as ever."

Face it Newt, you're a loser. You've been a loser for a long time. Even the people that follow you, are losers.

RC Hammond wont' risk his political career hanging around with Newt after the whole team has jumped ship, he's on his way out the door as he speaks.

I like Newt but unfortunately the Former Speaker is damaged goods. He doesn't have what it takes to turn that around. I thought for a time that he did when I watched him on Fox News. Bottom line is this: The Republicans don't have a viable candidate at this time to give Obama a run for his money. Sad to say but it's true.

Signs of hope. Even hardened, professional political right-wing operatives find Newt too nauseating to stomach.

Newt's staff has Palined him. 16 Paliners before and two more Paliners now! This is all part of Newt's plan. Once he becomes president, the whole federal government will Palin and our budget problems will be solved!

Wow, can you say glutton for punishment. When will Newt realize that no one wants him to be the Republican nominee? What a delusional man.
