(CNN) - Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin had plenty to tweet about Wednesday regarding the book, "Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far," by her oldest daughter, Bristol Palin.
Palin praised the memoir, which released Tuesday, as "Shocking; Refreshing; Honest; INSPIRING! Perfect," and said it "gives insight into how media can drive false narrative."
In the book, Bristol writes about lying to her parents so she can go on a camping trip with friends–a night that ended with the teenager losing her virginity to her boyfriend, Levi Johnston, while getting drunk off wine coolers.
Later, Bristol walks readers through her unwanted pregnancy with Johnston, revealing details on their shaky relationship over the years.
Bristol also writes about her mother's political career and includes sections on the 2008 presidential race when Palin campaigned as Sen. John McCain's running mate.
Palin, author of books, herself, wrote on Twitter that her daughter's memoir was "Spot on!" and complimented Bristol for opening up about her private life: "She's courageous to write what she wrote, warning about decisions/consequences in encouraging way, esp for teens!"
The proud mom then posted a photo of the book.

The really pitiful part is that you're right. Incredible how much free press if given to what can only be described as America's Most Infamous Trailer Trash Family. At a time when our nation thirsts for role models like our President and his wholesome, well-adjusted family, we choose instead to parade these people for the whole world to see and wrongly conclude that this is a typical American family.
We try to laugh off the Palins to hide the embarrassment that they make us feel.

"Perfect!"?!?! The precise, specific reason SP loves this book is because it shows her daughter is becoming a histrionic attention-wh0r3, just like grizzly-mama. They claim to hate the media, but they USE the media to generate income from their otherwise non-producing, non-self-examined lives. They are crass and useless, and the country as a whole will be better when they just go back to living their private lives and KEEPING THEM PRIVATE, rather than flashing the intimate, embarrassing details around.
Setting aside the fact that no 20-year-old needs to write her "memoirs" – the more important question is why? What has this child done, besides get pregnant at an inconvenient time for her mother, then ride that pregnancy for all its worth? From the blurbs I've read – and that's all I WILL ever read – she: 1) totally blames the boy for her predicament (takes two to tango, honey – didn't your mama teach you that?); 2) disses the McCains, who made ALL of the unwarranted attention your family receives possible; 3) poses as the innocent angel that we all know she is not. Sad that her role model, dear old mom, has raised such a leach.

After going through all these comments looking for at least one positive comment; I am shocked that there is so much animosity out there. What is so much different than the typical young girl geting pregnant these days. Come on, it is so usual that in most cases; it isn't even considered to be unusual. And why is the Mother being blamed for standing by her daughter? Wouldn't a good parent support their daughter even after she got pregnant?
Sounds to me like this is a concerted effort by politically minded people to make it look like the crime of the century. It is not!! What it is, is a decline in our moral values thoughout our society. Who amongst y'all are perfect ?
