Herman Cain signs book deal

(CNN) - Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain, whose numbers are slowly reaching the double digits in polls measuring support, will publish a book detailing his life and career as the former CEO of Godfather's Pizza.

The memoir, titled "Who is Herman Cain?" is set to release in October by Threshold Editions, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, and intends to highlight the businessman's work in the restaurant industry.

"The recent Republican debate in New Hampshire introduced Herman Cain as a Presidential candidate, yet little is known about his impressive background," said a statement released by the publisher. "A proud 'outsider' in the political arena, Cain created his name in corporate America rather than on Capitol Hill, through four decades spent revitalizing business in the private sector."

    "Who is Herman Cain?"
He's the uncle tom candidate chosen by the right to be used as a ploy to make people think the republican party is "diverse." What a joke. When they've used him up for whatever reason, they'll throw him under the bus just like they did Michael Steele. As a black man, I can't see how African Americans can align themselves with these fascists that call themselves republicans who are against any prosperity within urban society or use racial jargon against the President.

Now he can stop this madness and make money...his only real reason for running in the first place.

  4. Republicans - The "Not Intended To Be Factually Accurate" Party

Under Herman Cain, total employment at Goffather`s Pizza dropped 20% and the chain ranked 10th in overall pizza revenues.

I don`t think America wants Cain to repeat this performance on behalf of the country.

Would seem Mr. Cain, like Ms. Palin is in the business of RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT, Inc., instead of realistically having a chance to win.

"Who is Herman Cain", and the answer is, the former CEO of Godfather's Pizza, right, so I don't need to buy the book.

Give it up, Herman. The Republicans tried going black with Michael Steele and it didn't work. They dropped him like a bad habit. You poll numbers should tell you something. Listen to them.

His ambition and talent were the right mixture to build up a pizza company. Culturally, he needed to be alligned with the rich white folks, A.K.A. the Republican party. It's no secret the GOP will work to promote the interests of the wealthy – no sense of environmental responsibility, no concern for the working man, and certainly no appreciation for the plight of the poor. Cain made his choice and he's wealthy. Other than using him for a token "colored boy" he means nothing to the Tea party crowd.

Herman Cain is just a diversion the same as Michael Steele was, both having been used by the GOP.

A successful businessman who is obviously experienced in economics and how to run a business is who can present sound economic solutions. Harvard lawyers can only propose political solutions which has proven over the last three years to only fail miserably, as evidence by the following: increase in debt by at least 75%, increased unemployment, millions more losing their jobs, and priority given to funding other countries with questionable governments when our own country could use the funding. Good luck, Mr. Cain!

Now his so-called candidacy is starting to make sense. It is the Sarah Palin-Gingrich syndrome: spend someone else's contributed buck, and you can write a book on the experience of spending said buck and make a personal profit of $25 bucks via a ghost-written book.
Got it, and not a minute too soon because this man and the GOP Tea Party together in the same sewer just made absolutely no sense at all to me.

And that would be a personal profit of $25 bucks PER book. Let's not forget personal appearances, speaking fees, etc.

Just listen to this guy in a interview sometime and you will understand, in short order, what this character is all about.

    Himself and not much else.

America First - you're pointing at the executive branch (which signs or does not sign laws).

It's the legislative branch (House, Senate) that MAKES THE LAWS, IDIOT. POINT AT THE PROPER BRANCH.

Cain is a pawn and friend of Faux News. Not a serious candidate. He's only imporant to show people the Grumpy Old People (GOP) has a couple of minorities in their so called "big tent."

    This explains a lot;

Raise your profile (raise interest) and add a zero or two to your book deal.

Smart, and "Conservatives" fall for it every time.
