New York (CNNMoney) – One out of every three White House employees makes at least $100,000 a year, according to data released by the White House on Friday.
Top earners pull down a salary of $172,200 a year, while three employees have a salary of $0. Most staffers fall somewhere in the middle.

well I guess most of them will get tax increases if Obama has his way, right?
Spread the Wealth.......no wonder everyone wants to work.....errr shhh...I mean be employed by the government, if any of them had to do an honest days' work, they would quit & get on welfare with the rest of the Democrats in this great nation of which they hate!
This is one place where spending cuts can be made..... no bigger waste of money than the Obama White House.
First of all $100,000 in Washington D.C. is SQUAT. The cost of living is ridiculous. Second, WH staffers work hard and around the clock. If for some reason they are needed at 12 midnight, they have to be available. Time is $$.

OK...so if we compare these salaries to other administrations, is it more or less? Does it tell us anything about the expertise of the people who surround the president. I am more interested in the 2 people who decided not to take any pay - these are real patriots or complete nutters.
And not a one of them deserve that salary starting from the top on down.
Well, of course they do. No one works in our government for peanuts. Those are the "cherry" jobs, and those who support the President expect to get them, and they expect big salaries to come with the jobs.
HGood for them they deserve it. 70 to 80 hour weeks away from family. Service to our nation.
