Washington (CNN) – Current and past first ladies Michelle Obama, Hillary Clinton and Nancy Reagan will attend a memorial service Tuesday in California for former first lady Betty Ford.
The White House announced that Obama would travel to Palm Desert, California, for the Tuesday service, which will be followed by a private funeral Thursday in Michigan.

Michelle Obama always has style and Grace, no matter what all the Haters say! She is our first lady and she is representing like she is supposed to do.
Betty Ford was a class act and a great First Lady. Gerald Ford was the last true fiscal conservative who actually tried to keep the budget in check, rather than cut taxes for the wealthy and pay lip service to it. Both of them are dearly missed.

I agree that Gerald Ford was a good, honest and decent man. His wife was a real person, who faced real problems and overcame them.
Too bad, the GOP doesn't have anyone of Mr. Ford's caliber in their leadership ranks today. The country would be much better off if it did.
