Palin's advice on debt ceiling: 'Reload with reality'

(CNN)-Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin had sharp words for both President Obama and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell late Wednesday as she criticized their handling of the looming debt ceiling deadline.

"It's absolutely nonsensical the lack of planning that our leaders are exercising and showing their constituents coming out of D.C. right now," she said.

The 2008 GOP nominee for vice president pulled no punches in an appearance on Fox News when it came to the actions of the president, whom she blamed for "big government job killing policies" and "fearmongering tactics" or McConnell, who proposed a short term plan she claimed "makes no sense."

"It does cede power to our president and takes away that authority that is inherent in Congress to control the economic decisions that have to be made when it comes to debt," Palin said of McConnell's short-term strategy to increase the debt ceiling in three increments.

"We cannot afford to back off and hand him a white flag saying, 'Here Mr. President we trust you you take over, you do it' because our president has failed in that area," she continued.

And though there's blame to go around, for Palin, the buck stops with Obama.

"Our president is essentially suggested the other day that he's not able to prioritize, as the chief executive of our nation he can't prioritize," she stated.

Palin, who said she'll decide on a bid for the 2012 GOP nomination for president by August or September, also gave advice to Republicans engaged in debt negotiations with the executive-in-chief.

"We cannot default but we cannot afford to retreat either, now is not the time to retreat. It's the time to reload and we reload with reality," she said.

Does she have anything to say other than catchphrases? I don't think "don't retreat, reload" and "drill, baby, drill" are very effective governing principles.

I'm sure all of those directly involved with this crucial issue are all ears to what Palin's saying. This is tough stuff; really tough. If Sara faced this herself, she would quit. Right.

All this ranting about Sarah. The real enemy is any organization, entity or individual, that in anyway supports this ignorant fool.

Don't sell short Sarah Palin. She does know how to take advantage of a situation and make a pile of money for herself.
The way thing are going, the way MEN in leadershiip positions are screwing up the financial situation, this woman may just get elected. Her slogan will be: "throw the incompetents out"

Always follow your gut; I knew I was right when I decided not to vote for her as governor of Alaska. This woman is nothing but a clown; and I mean the Stephen King clown from the movie "It."

Ahh.. another round of insane gibberish from Palin. Palin, how should we fix the debt ceiling issue? "Reload with Reality". Oh.. ahhh.. thanks. That clears that RIGHT UP.

So, basically – she has no solution either. She has no concept of how to fix the problem. She has no ideas for getting either side to comprimise, so instead she takes the anticipated approach of running her mouth, making absolutely NO SENSE, and not actually helping anything. Yet.. 35% of the country would vote for her, 'cause she's "folksy". Ugh.

No one cares what $arah Palin's opinion is about...anything. Why doesn't CNN seek my opinion on the debt crisis? I stand as much of a chance as she does, of receiving a nomination to run for president. And, I don't even need to write basic words on the palm of my hand.

  21. Palin Who?

Who cares what Sarah Palin thinks? She has no more knowledge or experience than most of us do. In fact, she's probably got far less of both than many of us do. She has very little political experience. She has very little education. The only reason some people hang on her every word is because the media follows her around like a dog follows a bone. What makes her qualified to continually issue forth opinions on public matters? They might as well be interviewing me, my neighbor or the person in the office next to me. We'd all have about as much authority as Palin does.

she read that off her hand, but the word "show" had been sweated off..... she meant to say "we reload with reality shows..."

    ---–
So, 2 months or so more of newsless headlines and stories? 2 months more of $arah milking every last bit out of her unfortunate fame, and every dollar she can collect from SarahPAC, only then to tell her followers she's not running? She's made her decision already...NOT RUNNING. She has never intended to. It's far too much work, for far too little pay. She'd obviously much rather be a celebrity. So pathetic that the media panders to her every whim and word.
